"I used Sila Heating Cooling and Plumbing service a few weeks ago because my HVAC system was giving me trouble. This was during the start of the heat wave and for some reason outside unit/condenser unit stopped working. The Inside unit was still working/blowing, but the condenser did not work. I called up Sila and they were able to send someone out right away. There was a program deal, so the charge to send someone out to inspect the problem was reduced to $79.00. Tyler Brawner was the technician they send out to inspect my unit. He not only found the issue, which was a worn out capacitor that needed to be replace. He clean the unit, and checked on my inside unit to make sure it was cooling properly. Tyler was a great tech who was transparent enough too discussed and guided me through everything he was doing, and provide me with some at home maintenance tips for my system. It’s about one month now and the unit is running as normal. Everything all together cost $313.37, I will definitely use their company again, check back with them close to winter to inspect the heating portion of the system."

A bedroom that used to require its own window unit to stay cool is now ice cold in the summer with the central air. "Their Salesman was early to our appointment, which was good. He promptly put on the plastic booties to keep boot crud off of my floors (also good). After he looked at the boiler, tank and surrounding piping he consulted his ipad and gave a detailed estimate. He took the time to explain each item and how any changes would affect the total cost.
After taking several estimates I called amazing to do the work and they sent their chief engineer and owner to do a final survey. I scheduled a date and their workmen were ringing my bell at the exact time scheduled (0730). It took longer that they expected to remove the old tank and had to return the next day to complete the install. They even ran new thermostat wire since my old 1930s era wiring didn't support the modern equipment they installed. When the work was finished I authorized the final 2/3 of the payment (having paid 1/3 in the beginning) The amount was as quoted, even though they experienced unexpected difficulties. This is fantastic! I have an old Baltimore dutch colonial style home built in 1928. I constantly have issues with contractors saying they have experience with old homes and then wanting to jack up the price when they encounter some thing they didn't expect. If you're as experienced as you say add it to the estimate! I'm a grown up I can understand contingency costs! Amazing proved that they were every bit as experienced as they claim and I will now use them for all of my HVAC needs in the future.

"Don (the owner of Aqua) was in the area at the time I called and was able to stop by within 60-90 minutes of my call. He checked operation of the boiler, and diagnosed the problem with the help of the boiler manufacturer tech support. I needed a new ignition control module; the problem was that the boiler flame would not stay lit. He tried to get the old one working again, and seemed to succeed, but I called him back the next morning to report it started acting up again. He ordered the part and returned after it arrived in a few days to install it. The part appeared to resolve the issue and I was good to go. The boiler is over 25 years old and my previous HVAC contractor had said it needed to be replaced. Don looked at me like I was nuts when I told him that. He genuinely believed in repairing rather than replacing if at all possible, and I could not agree more."
