".The contractor assessed the source of the water leaking into our basement.  He was adamant that he could not guarantee that his simple repair would work, but he wanted to try it before embarking on the expensive task of digging down and resealing the basement.  Since the leak had just appeared recently (and after some gardening work in that area), we agreed to risk the $1000 to try to caulk up the holes and regraded the soil near the leak. 
They came on time, finished on time, worked neatly and, most importantly, seemed to be effective in the results of the repair.
I definitely would use them again even though, I felt, that the little time that it took them to repair did not seem to be worth $1000.  On the other hand, I do not really know what a fair price is."

"Kristy,James and his men were a pleasant company to talk to and did excellent work. They had done some previous work for me a year ago that turned out great so I had no problem what so ever contacting him and his company again for this project. The work was great and looked better than I had expected it to look. I like James because he is honest and will give advice on a project if you ask it. The job was completed in the time he had said and was on budget. Cant wait to start using my new deck this summer. will use them again if I have anything else come up."

"Jason came and gave me an estimate on the work to be performed and was back the next day to complete it.  He was on time, very professional and efficient.  He took down and trimmed a door that was scrubbing on the carpet, he fixed two ceiling fans that were wobbling and making noise by taking them down and starting over to make sure they were secure, he put door sweeps on two doors, fixed three other doors that were not shutting and latching properly, fixed a sliding glass closet door that had a large gap in it and he insulated a picture window.  I like the fact that he wants things to be fixed right the first time.  While he was here he gave me an estimate on some work I need done outside my home.  I feel the quality of work was very good and the price was fair.  It is hard to find someone who can come and do a lot of small jobs for one quoted price and finish in the time given.  I am very happy.  I will have J.D. Handyman do more work for me.

"An excellent team of workers tore down the damaged exterior wall on one morning, them rebuilt it the next morning. The workers were very courteous, and friendly, worked almost silently and very efficiently. Not a lot of talk, each man knew what to do, and worked together as a well run team. "It is a waste of money. The great majority of people are not going to find any value out of the service. If you need design consultation, you need a full service consultation. If you already have knowledge and experience, and you just need to get a few ideas, then you don't need to pay for that. You can just get a magazine or a book since you already have the knowledge of basic designs in your head or a little bit of experience. To have someone call you and give you information over the phone, you are not getting the personal service that you need. You may as well take the money $49 and apply it to something else like getting someone else to come out and give you the service that you need. Because, you are not getting much, you are not getting anything at all. They are going to have you do the work. After talking to them and I was talking to other home designers, I found out that that was a waste of time and waste of money. I gave them a C because they didn't fail at what they do but they don't offer any value for what they do. There's not much value to it. The cost was fair. They didn't do a terrible job and the cost isn't terrible, it was only $49. It just has a very low value. For responsiveness I gave them a B because they will answer your phone and answer your emails."
