"If we had know that a whole-house window replacement (plus a french door) was this easy, we would have done it years ago! Working with Scott and his installation crew has been a great experience. We talked with several different window replacement companies before making our decision. Universal won us over by 1.) getting back to us right away and scheduling an appointment at our earliest convenience, 2.) the quality and price of the windows and doors, 3.) being able to call and talk to Scott himself (not an automated system) when we had questions, and 4.) the assurance that he did not subcontract the installation. Scott was so knowledgeable about his products and helped us with our decisions without being pushy or making us feel that we needed to make a quick decision before some kind of "special offer" expired. The prices we were quoted remained the same. He has a trained installation crew that really knows what they are doing and are personable, professional, and knowledgeable about the product that they are installing. Wayne and his crew replaced 20 windows in one day, and replaced a french door in a few hours on the second day. They had all of the tools and materials needed for any unexpected problems when replacing windows and doors in an older home. They cleaned up when they had finished and took away the old windows and door. This was a great experience and we will use Universal Windows again if we ever need to replace other windows."

Measurement and installation crew were accurate, timely and meticulous on the installation which had some challenging openings from the existing brick around the previous windows. They didn’t rush over areas that gave some difficulties but did it right the first time. I would recommend Zen Windows for anyone looking for quality window company for replacement windows."

"I hired this plumber on a couple of different occasions. Each time he did the work fairly well but I was left feeling he had not done his best, and was basically going through the motions so he could get out of there. He was entertaining and cheerful, but the end result is, I still (months later) have rusty water in my tub (from his work), the water heater he pointed out is not up to code, was not corrected by him NOR a substitute or fix discussed, and in general I felt he couldn't wait to get out of there; even his voicemail says he's "really busy" so the impression one gets is, don't bother him unless you want to pay him a lot of money for a big job and/or don't really care about an excellent result for a "small time" (normal) repair. Date above is VERY approximate -- I would have to look at my records to be sure but he did come out a couple of separate times last fall and winter."

The crew executed a quick and clean removal of old windows and the installation of new ones went very smooth. Very professional crew. "We just built a new house. The model unit had shutters and we loved the look. We started taking bids before we closed on our house. It took Costco 5 days to get us a quote. Budget blinds was our last bid. Rex came onsite and had a bid for us in 20 mins. He was efficient and very professional. Rex had the lowest bid by $600 (including Costco). We didnt fell pressured in any way. After more research the shutters are the same Norman (top of the line) shutters we were quoted by other companies. We signed the contract with Budget Blinds. Rex was very upfront with us that these are custom shutters and it will take 6-8 weeks. We receive a call 1 week earlier than we thought. The installers came out with in days. we had one small leak in one of the windows. I asked the installers to install all the windows except the leaking window (until builder fix leak), Mary (Rex wife) emailed me the next day to see how everything went and to call her to schedule the final shutter install. Working with Rex and Mary has been a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Budget Blinds."
