"John did a great job, he was professional, curteous and friendly. He replaced a leak which was at a joint, which also cause a problem for the line to the washer. The washer line came into the joint thus he had to replace that line not just fix the joint. I have the old grey pipes that has since been outlawed for usuage. "Billy Pearsall came to our home to install a new shower faucet, change out some hoses, replace a trap, tighten some fittings, and, as a courtesy (i.e., no charge), tried to repair a tired toilet lever. After Billy departed, the toilet began running and I called Valdel about that. Billy came back, this time replacing the lever altogether and refused my offer to pay, saying that my satisfaction with Valdel was what mattered and he was happy to handle the issue. "The company replied quickly and gave an estimate as requested. We were quoted for 2 new shut offs and 3-5 replacement shut offs. The plumber only brought 5 fittings, but he gave me the option to run to Home Depot to get more... I was also instructed to replace a hose which wasn?t leaking until after the repair, but it was easily fixed when I suggested to connect the new hose to the pipe rather than to the leaking hose. Sharkbite valves were installed. If I knew they were going to be used, I would have done the work myself. The plumber was proficient with the Sharkbites, I just expected that a pro plumbing company would solder. When the plumber left, there were no leaks, and I didn?t feel like making an issue of the other 2 valves which I wanted installed."
