"I gave Hunter a heads up on a Wednesday about some low pressure that I was having the water company out to investigate. The water company came out Friday late afternoon and Hunter was here shortly thereafter on SAME DAY notice. I decided to go pick up a regulator to have ready for him to install since it was getting late on a Friday and I knew he was fitting me in on little notice. He texted me that he was on his way and arrived at the house even before I returned back. In fact, he advised me over the phone that the mid grade regulator would suffice and told me the appropriate size to buy. He and Shawn replaced the part efficiently and ensured the pressure setting was to my liking. He charged me what I considered a NOMINAL fee ($125!) for 2 men’s time, work and travel. Unfortunately, later that evening I noticed a sound coming from the regulator. I notified him to see if it might be air causing it or if there was something I could try to fix it. And though it was now quite late on a Friday night, he listened to the recorded sound via text and told me it was the regulator which would need to be switched out. Monday he came back again and when we realized I mistakenly bought the same model again but from a different store (with different packaging) he offered to run out for me to get another one. I decided I would go instead and he and Shawn waited 35 min for me to return. They performed a second replacement and set the pressure to my liking. Luckily no noise! After all that, Hunter did NOT charge me a dime extra for their time, travel or labor in making the switch. He’s prompt, honest, hard working, patient and DOES what he says he’s going to do WHEN he says he’s going to do it- a very RARE and special thing to find these days! Now that I know a gem of a plumber, I don’t think I’ll ever fret again when any of our pipes become a problem."

"<p>Benjamin Franklin's technicians performed outstanding service, installing an entire new and superior tankless hot water system, replacing our inferior and dangerously flawed tankless system that no longer performed. The lead technician was up front regarding the reasons for replacement, the cost of replacement, as well as less expensive alternatives. After we decided to replace with a new tankless system and because of the price point, the lead technician suggested time plan payment alternatives which was very helpful.</p> <p>The day of installation, the crew arrived on time as promised and suggested that the unit be placed on the outside of the house instead of underneath in the crawl space, allowing for easy access for maintenance and trouble shooting as well as for safety. An excellent suggestion since the old tankless system had been installed against a wall in the crawl space underneath our bedroom floor which the lead technician noted, would have been bad for us if the corroded pipes had started leaking gas! Anyway, the entire job was completed without a hitch and again right on time as promised.</p> <p>The new system has been working perfectly for six months now and we could not be more pleased! I would highly recommend Benjamin Franklin and their technical crews to anyone with plumbing issues - two thumbs up!</p> <br />"
