"Scott, the owner, answered my request promptly for a quote and evaluation.  He was quick, efficient, and fair.  I chose him over other companies because of his approach to me and because he answered all my questions.  There were no surprises.  The day of the work -- and it took but one day even on a large, high-pitched roof-- his crew arrived promptly.  They did all they could to protect my plants (and I have lots of them).  The crew worked all day in to early evening to complete all the work.  Before they left they meticulously cleaned up every scrap from all sides of the house.  They cleaned all the gutters.  I had selected an upgraded shingle.  The finished work is beautiful.  There was a minor problem with a long section of gutter.  I called Old Fort and Scott himself came out to look at the issue.  He told me a well-known gutter company would be contacting me immediately to replace the whole section. No questions or quibbling.  It was replaced within 48 hours.  I even got a follow-up from Old Fort asking me if I were completely satisfied with the gutter replacement. I am so pleased with Scott, Alex his assistant, and the crew that I have sung their praises.  I manage to bring up my new roof in all kinds of conversations.  I can't recommend Old Fort Roofing enough."

"Michiana Window World is extremely professional in every respect. <br /> I requested bids to replace my windows from three different contractors - two recommended by local people, and one from Anties List (Michiana Window World). Of the two locally recommended, one ignored me with promises to call back, but not doing so; a second came out (with sidearm), measured windows, but never returned with a quote.  The Window World rep came out with paperwork, measuring tools, and an example window. We saw the product and knew the estimated cost before he left. <br /> We paid 50% up front and scheduled an appointment. Window World later followed-up with us to be sure the date would still work. <br /> When they arrived on the scheduled date, the crew started at 10 AM and had completed their work by 3 PM. There was virtually no evidence that they had even been there. All debris and materials were cleaned up and taken away.  <br /> We have white aluminum siding on our house. Their white vinyl frames and trim worked very nicely.  <br /> The windows have a life-time guarantee and currently we are able to recover about $70/window as an energy savings rebate from the gas company. "They did a great job, very efficient. Mauricio inspected each of the lights before installing and found one to be defective. The internal wires were stripped and not safe. We felt very lucky that he had inspected before installing. We were able to get another light fixture that he later installed and were able to prevent a possible fire from that light fixture. <br /> We originally asked just for the lighting installation. After talking, we discovered that he and his crew did so much more. They do room additions, fences, remodeling, home inspections, etc. We kept adding projects (since it is a new home for us) and he was always willing to tackle anything we requested. "Brook is easy to work with.  Because we live fairly nearby, he came over to our house and gave us an estimate.  He stayed after hours to do so.  <br /> He gave us an exact quote and told us about the work he would do.  He built the replacement front window (18" x 18" grid of 16 leaded glass windows) that looks EXACTLY like the original window; finished it a week earlier than promised, installed it - couldn't have asked for a better job.  (I'd give them an "A" on price, but leaded glass work is SO expensive.  <br /> Unlike Fox Studios, he is happy to do work AT YOUR HOUSE, which is wonderful! <br />"
