"Monty was great. He came right out and gave us an estimate and we scheduled a time for him to come out. He arrived as promised to perform the work. The repaired section looks great! It’s difficult to tell where or if a repair was done. We will definitely call him for any masonry repair work we need done."

"He replaced boards needing to be replaced and the job was clean and thorough. Second time I have used them to paint my house and I HIGHLY recommend them. Complete job took 4 days in this extreme heat. My house is brick so he did the trim around the house and the back patio and I have a shed that was included. Good communications with you also."

"excellent work done by all three crews. 1st crew dug and poured concrete. They matched the finish of the concrete to the existing patio and pool deck. <br /> 2nd crew framed the exposed patio and attached to the house <br /> 3rd crew built the fireplace. The crew were the best and would consider them and quot;artistsand quot; with the way the built with stone and brick. <br />"

"I had to make an emergency phone call to James @ AHR, asking to be rescued. The installer wouldn't install this morning due to various issues with my connections. After some maneuvering, James was able to get Ronnie, who's come to the house many times, out this afternoon and get my new refrigerator and oven hooked up! If I could, I'd give Artisans Home Repair an XF rating for Xtra Fabulous!!!"

"We had Texas Best Fence remove our old fence and replace with a cedar. We are very pleased with the results. They weren't the cheapest by any means, but they included everything we wanted in a fence. All other companies had to add everything They did the complete job in 2 days, including removing the old fence. The workmanship is outstanding. The salesman and the crew were always on time. We had already planned a out of town overnight for the final day of the install. We were nervous about leaving before it was complete. No worries though, when we returned the next day, we had a beautiful new fence and no adjustments or problems were found. We love it."

"The offer was misleading. Offered 8 hours of masonry repair for coupon purchase, but business representative said it was 8 hours between 3 employees or approximately 2 1/2 hours each employee. The representative asked me to come an hour earlier to work site on day of work to go over the areas he found, which I did. When I got there, they were already working and did not stop to show me anything, until I asked. Two employees were working to lay a line of brick on a ledge, which I had not authorized. He showed me what he said needed repair. I told him what I wanted fixed and he said that the coupon could be applied to the line of brick. After awhile, I was told time was up and they had not completed the line of brick. I told him that you are just going to leave it unfinished and I was told he just wanted me to see what it would look like. He told me that he could finish the brick work and cracks for an additional $5,000+ dollars. I said I would not pay to have that work completed. I told him I would have to get someone to tear out the work as it had just been started. The whole experience was misleading and I still ended up paying $960.00 for a couple of the original repairs that I did want done. The work that was done was good but what a misrepresentation from the company in order to force additional work from customer."

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Pilot Point, TX

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
