I think this should be part of the repair because pulling it out to take care of the repair causes a washer to no longer be level sometimes. "Country Wide came out and they diagnosed the problem, and the technician advised that there was a gas leak as the value was staying open. He also let me know that it would cost about $300 for the part itself. I contacted GE, as I thought with the part being $300 it would be cheaper to just get a new dryer, and they let me know they would try to help me get the part for free. In order to do this, they wanted to talk to Country Wide. When GE called Country Wide, the order invoice said there was no problem found. I called Country Wide to ask why they said nothing was written when the technician advised me and my son in law that there was a problem with the valve. I spoke with Kiara and she told me that this was written before the technician diagnosed the problem. I asked if they would call GE back to let them know since it was their mistake, and she said that is not something that they do. When I asked to speak to manager or supervisor, she said that they were just going to tell me the same thing, and when I asked again she said that there weren't any managers or supervisors. I have a hard time believing there is no one else I could have spoken to and I think I would have gotten a better response from a supervisor or manager. Until I spoke with Kiara, I did not have a bad experience with the company."
