"The the seals on all the windows the previous owner had installed were broken.  We decided to get them all replaced since the window manufacturer and installer went out of business.  We got quotes from several companies.  Based on reviews from Angie's list, we went with Supreme Windows and Doors.  Installation was done on a Saturday and went without a problem.  It took about half a day to install the 7 windows.

"Vince from V&C was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.  I would highly recommend him to anyone, and I will be recommending him to my parents and friends who need gutter cleaning and repair work done.  He was honest and upfront about everything during our first phone call, and from his other great reviews on Angie's List, I was confident that he would do a great job.  He gave us a rough estimate of the cost of the work we needed over the phone, as he wasn't able to do an on-site estimate (which I totally understood).  With the cost of gas and travel being what it is, I don't blame him!  Not only that, but he is very busy with other gutter jobs, so he took a description of our house and gutters over the phone, and gave me a pretty solid estimate without having to actually come out here first.  Works for me!
My initial call set up a job appointment about 2 weeks out.  I felt that if he is that busy, then he must be pretty good!! (and worth a little wait) He confirmed the appointment a couple of days before, and also called and texted me when he was on his way that morning.  I appreciate the great communication!  
Vince and his assistant completed the work in about 1.5 hours.  They cleaned all the gutters, spray-jetted the downspouts that needed to be flushed, and also cleaned off the siding on the house in the areas that they worked on.  Vince re-attached the front gutter and replaced some old bent gutter nails with new screws and brackets.  He re-pitched angle slope on the rear gutter, and spray cleaned that one as well.  He removed one section of downspout in the rear and removed a pretty bad clog.  While Vince was on the roof, he pointed out some exposed nails and other roof issues for me, which was very nice of him!  With his leaf blower he used to blow out the gutters, he even offered to blow some leaves off of our patio!  After the work was completed, he even wiped down our porch and spray cleaned our sidewalks and front porch to clean up after the job!  Quick, clean, and professional!  
We are having V&C come back in the spring to install an additional downspout in the front and rear of our house, as we only have 1 per side, and the house is a bit wide for just 1.  They'll also be replacing the last remaining old gutter in the front with a new one (with screw-mounted hidden hangers instead of nails). Vince took measurements while he was here, and we are going to schedule the work soon.   I watched all the work happen, and Vince explained everything he was doing as he went along.  They worked quickly and cleaned up like  they were never here!  Vince gave us a fair price on the entire job, and even offered to give us a deal on yearly gutter cleaning if he comes back next year.

"Robert Wood is the owner and he came down to talk with me and do the estimate. We communicated with each other and he was very detailed about the different qualities and the different approaches to installing a roof and that sort of thing. He followed up when the roof was put on and was actually there a couple of times. I saw him on the roof supervising the crew. He made sure that I was satisfied. They did an excellent job from start to finish. I really don't have any complaints. As far as roofers go he was very professional; I can't imagine anybody being more professional. There was a lot of competition, I had a couple of other people I looked at and at the end of the day they came back and reduced their prices a little. He was not the least expensive, but I believe I got what I paid for. The price may have been about $200 to $500 on a $13,000 roof.  "

"I have never had gutters on my home, so when Gutter Guys visited to do an estimate, they needed to look at the entire home, front and back. They gave me several options including only having the front of the home done, or having the entire house done in normal gutters. They also gave me prices for the cadillac of gutters which has the "GutterGard" which leaves no need for cleaning out the gutters. The idea of climbing a ladder a couple times a year was not inviting, and once they shared a payment plan with me, I was sold. They did the estimate and came back on the day they promised and on time. The work was done quickly, but very efficiently. They showed me what they were doing and how the installation would be done. Once finished they cleaned all their mess up and left me with great looking gutters! I would highly recommend the Gutter Guys!

"Their was a slight hiccup in the pricing and after my check was cashed, Tom the owner called me saying he wanted to cancel the order and give me my 1/3 deposit back of $1,800.  I was devastated because I already had a previous door installed improperly and that had failed in less then one year. This was extremely traumatic after several weeks and a cashed check to hear that the owner wanted to cancel my order.  To make a long story short he thought about it....he called me back and decided to move forward with the order. The installation went flawlessly.  Very professional crew, love my new door.  Comes with excellent warranty.  My advice stay as far away from fiberglass as you can!!! Way too much flex in the door.  I did steel door  with wood grain look painted black at the factory.. Just remember "the cheap becomes expensive". Steel is the only and best way to go and slightly less expensive then fiberglass.  The most important aspect of door and window replacement for that matter is the installation! The people that install for Hammer and Nail only work for them. Even if I could find cheaper its not worth it. Installation is and should be your number one concern.  If you want reliability, honesty and integrity you must choose HAMMER and NAIL.
