"We were purchasing a home that had some repairs needed before we could close. We had Devlin come out to do the repairs. Overall the repairs eventually got done, but not without having them come out multiple times to complete it. They were supposed to replace the whole sewer line, but when we went to look after they said they were done, there was still a section that had not been replaced. We called the owner and he had the technician come back out to finish the job. To replace the sewer line, they had to cut a hole in our ceiling. They then left the piece of our ceiling on the floor and never replaced it, even after asking them to replace it. When they replaced the sewer line they drove a truck and trailer through our front and back yard to take away the pieces, which we were not pleased with. Overall the work got done, but we had to get them to come out multiple times to finally complete it, and they did not treat our home with respect. We were disappointed and will not be using them again.

"I received an email that included a Angie's list coupon it was $1,499.00 for an Exterior House Painting package--Premium Paint included done by Churchill Painting and Renovations. I purchased the coupon on Mar 19, 2017. This coupon gave me 2,000 Square Feet of Exterior painting Prep and Minor repairs using Sherwin Williams Exterior SuperPaint. Included 2 coats, 1 color. This did not include Trim, gutters, fascia, boxing, windows, shutters, doors. If the exterior paint job was more than 2000 SQFT then each additional SQFT was $1.50/per SQFT more. The owner of Churchill Painting and Renovations, Cary, Came to my house on the 25th of March and we walked around talked about what they would do (i.e., pressure wash, fixing rotting wood (I had 4 areas of rotted wood that needed repaired), Prep and filling cracks and then painting 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Resilence paint doing two colors (trim and full exterior along with black paint on the front doors, railings and shutters. He provided me with an estimate of $2016.00 in addition to the coupon of $1499.00. For the painting process to get done we had to wait for weather to clear and in a week they came to the house and pressure washed the house. After the pressure wash was completed I noticed that you could actually see the masonary of the Hardy Plank showing through. That evening Cary called me to let me know that when they pressure washed the house it was apparent that the original paint job was never primed and that for the present paint job to be effective and last that the house would need two coats of primer. This added an additional 900.00 to the original contract. The cost of the Job now reached $4,415.00. I was not in a rush to get the house done and I let Cary know that if he had more pressing jobs he could get to them and get to me when they got a chance. So between weather and situations beyond anyone's control the prep work was done about 3 weeks later. Once the prep was done 3 days later the painting began and the job was complete in about 3 days. During the painting and prep further repair work was discovered which was repaired at a cost of $206.00. Leaving a grand total of the job being $4621.00. My Wife and I were extremely satisfied with the work. I gave a grade of C ( I wish there was a B- Grade) for the price because I believe the price was fair for the work performed and I am a cheapskate. I wish I just could have paid the original coupon price but I also wish I had a million dollars!!!!!!! So the price was definitely fair for the services provided. I gave a grade of B for the Quality only because when you look close at some of the trim work I noticed that there were slip ups and areas where siding paint ended up on the trim and other ways around. Also they were not the best at cleaning up chips and strips that were removed during the prep and paint portions of the job. Otherwise, it was a great JOB. My wife and I love the way it looks and was really impressed with the punctuality, professionalism and Responsiveness of the employees of Churchill Painting and Renovations. "Found my 13-year old water heater leaking in my garage on Sunday, knew it was time to get a new one.  First, I searched in the internet for customary cost of water heater replacement, so I'd know what to expect.  Next, I looked on Angie's List at several companies offering water heater service.  I liked Water Heater Experts because I was able to fill out my info online on their web site.  Got a call back on Sunday!  Said they would be by Monday afternoon  at 3:30 to assess the situation. (I misunderstood, thought they said REPLACE on Monday.)  Got a call late on Monday, that they were running late.  Wesley finally came by about 6 PM, and agreed with me, time to replace.  Said he would bring a new unit next morning and install it.  That was fine.  Tuesday morning Wesley showed up with a new water heater.  I left   for a meeting, leaving him to the job.  I was told I would get a call next day to pay by credit card.  Cool.  Came back home, found nice shiny new Rheem water heater, no mess, no problems. Pipes, vent,  fittings were very neat,  and appeared professionally  done.  I thought they said the job would take about 2 hours, but my wife told me Wesley was working for at least four hours.  Again, no problem.  End result is fine.  When I got the call for payment, I mentioned the $25 Angie's coupon.  The business owner, who called me to collect payment, said they would have to mail a check for $25 instead of taking the amount off the bill since the invoicing was already completed.  Note to readers:  let them know you have the coupon when you call for service, don't wait like me.  Overall, quite a painless process.  I haven't waited to receive the check to write this review, but I'm confident I will receive it.  All communications, phone and in person,  were polite and professional.

"Tim did a great job with the replacement of our water heater. Even though it was the day after Thanksgiving he moved some of his other appointments around to come to our home that afternoon. Tim and his assistant were careful to put on shoe covers in the house and to observe COVID 19 precautions. The job required more complicated plumbing since we have a desuperheater loop from our geothermal heat pump that connects to the water heater; the additional charge for this work was minimal. Tim was here until after 5:00 that evening, with the result that we had hot water over the weekend."

"There was a section of vinyl caulk that was installed between the backsplash and the counter. The caulk was old and deteriorated and became dis colored and did not cure. Since the problem was caused by the initial installation, Granite Transformation should have corrected the work under warantee. In fact, they want to charge me a service call. Since they did not stand behind their work, I would not recommend them. I had to call them back to repair plumbing problems, They failed to plug in the refrigerator completely. Beautiful job, but for &7,000 they should stand behind their work
