"We are so happy with our countertops and customer service we received. Cheryl was so helpful with helping us with the selection for our countertop to Jason taking the time showing us the layout on our slaps and the professional detail that Tyler and Malik had coming to our home and installing them. Everyone was so wonderful to work with will highly recommend them."

"Jason, Mike and Dan installed our pavers patio and we are very pleased with the results. They were professional, courteous, informative and patient (I asked many questions) and responsible. Jason was quick to return my phone calls or texts when I had some questions. I highly recommend Palat Landscaping."

"Rolling Hills Landscaping did a great job, were punctual, professional and extremely easy to communicate with during the project. From the beginning the estimate received was more than just a number but included sketches of the project as they interpreted it from our initial meeting to discuss our ideas. We were able to tweak features as the project progressed ensuring that the outcome coincided with our vision. Very helpful! As an engineer (retired) I was very satisfied with their attention to detail and found them to be very receptive to constructive comments during the project (I just couldn't help myself)."

"Dear Mr Massarelli, Son, and Gang, Well, what more can I say? With all this rain and warm weather, the weeds have had a field day! I called you, and within a few days you all showed up to my yard and removed the weeds, trimmed the bushes, cut down an annoying plant that was attempting to turn itself into a tree, and applied weed killer to the driveway. All of this was done quickly, professionally, and with a smile. And the cost was very appropriate. I feel like you all have become my own personal landscaper. I can't thank you enough!"

"The quality of work was excellent! Don, Mike, and Greg were the men doing the work . All three worked on creating a large drainage ditch system throughout the back yard. All three worked on dismantling the 60-year-old patio and roof, and pouring a new cement patio. Don designed and built the patio cover. He installed it with the help of Mike and Greg. They were efficient and neat every step of the way and explained what they were doing when asked, listened to any concern, and willingly corrected whatever needed (which was very little). After the drainage system across the entire backyard was finished, the landscaping included using river rock as the cover which is a very attractive border. The final step was to thatch, overseed and compost over the entire area. Again they did an excellent, thorough job. The covered patio is perfect! There also is a door next to the patio which leads into the garage and Don designed and built a small roof over this door that matches the patio roof. I'm extremely pleased with the work done by Zete's Outdoor Services. I highly recommend their business!"

"I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The primary goal was to block exterior lights to facilitate star gazing, with general privacy being the secondary goal. Jen was immediately attuned to my goals, as well as aesthetic -- naturalized, with native plants as much as possible. They planted 6 trees and 13 shrubs in a large bed, including some rocks. Everything was done with great attention to detail, both technically and aesthetically."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Pittsburgh, PA

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
