"Had a sump, perimeter gutter and vapor barrier installed. Took a couple of days over the estimate due to very well constructed concrete floor. Steven, Johnny and Chris were very personable and professional. They were extremely disappointed when they were unable to hit the estimate due to the concrete being difficult to jack hammer, but they came back and worked hard and got it finished. They were as clean as one can be when dealing with concrete and drywall. Very considerate about our property as a whole and walked me through their progress every day. Would recommend."

"Braxton came as scheduled to level up the various slabs of concrete in our driveway. He was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. We are pleased with the work he did and the level of service he provided! The weather did not allow him to finish the job to his satisfaction. So, he returned a few weeks later when the weather was forecast to be dry for the day to seal the cracks and cover them with sand. Not only was the end result aesthetically-pleasing, it is sealed now to protect from any water getting underneath the concrete slabs in the future. He and Landon were professional, thorough and efficient. Highly recommend!"

"It's rare to find a company that has the policies, procedures & business acumen that focuses on delivering outstanding customer service! The employees and service provided by Indians Crawl.Space were outstanding. I called for an estimate to repair damage to my crawl space. Larry arrived exactly as scheduled to inspect & provide me with 2 viable options to repair the damage. After learning about the 2 options, the benefits associated with encapsulating my crawl space were obvious ... despite the increase in cost. The team leader assigned to my project, James Patton did an outstanding job and took the time to explain & actually show me the work performed. After completing the job, he went above and beyond by sending me a series of "before" and "after" photos of my crawl space. This review would be incomplete without mentioning the outstanding customer service provided by the office member, Erica. She called to initially schedule, confirm and provide a detailed outline of what to expect, including the name of the Team Lead and their arrival time. Every person associated with the company should be acknowledged for their commitment to quality service & competitive pricing!"

"They were responsive, returned calls, scheduled when it was convenient, showed up on time, did the work and cleaned up. It was expensive but it is worth it. The floor looks great, is easy to clean. No more crumbling pitted concrete."

"What they do is, if you have a basement or a garage (in our case, a garage wall) that's underground that looks like it's starting to cave in, they drill holes in the wall and put these big plates on the inside and then put in a big rod through. And they did hole on the outside, about five feet deep, and put plate out there and then tightens those up so that it pulls up the wall back into place. It anchors the wall. The quality of the work was very good and pricing was good. Friendliness of the guys and professionalism was good as well. The only difficulty we had was sometimes in terms of scheduling; we had a big blizzard on then day they were originally scheduled to do that and obviously we didn't expect them to do it that day, but they didn't call which might be okay because the mayor even told people not to go to work. That was on a Wednesday, but we didn't hear anything even on Thursday and Friday or even the following week. They called about three in the afternoon on Thursday the week after that and said they were going to do it the next day, which made it a little difficult in terms of making sure we had somebody here except for the fact that this was between Christmas and New Year's and that was the only reason we made it. It wasn't a major problem, but I would have just wanted them to be a little more proactive in terms of scheduling."

"We first thought we had foundation issues when we noticed stair-step cracking along the front (both right and left sides) of our garage brick veneer. After a foundation company did some digging we came to realize the foundation was good, however the original builder had done us a disservice by not laying the brick on a proper cement block/base or using proper brick ties. Isabel came within 2 hours of contacting him to see if he could help our situation. Over time the brick had dropped and separated from the wall itself and was, in time, going to simply fall. He suggested to properly repair all the damage (it was fairly extensive on both sides of the front wall) he would have to demo the entire wall up to the gable and start over with a proper base for the brick. He would dig to see if there were proper footers/a base for the brick to start stacking, possibly pour a proper concrete support, rebuild the wall - matching the existing brick, and repair our concrete walkway that was partially pulled up by the foundation company upon their investigation. We met with Isabel and Revis on Tuesday, the following day a crew showed up first thing in the morning and the job was done by the end of the week. They addressed every concern we had along the way. The crew was even able to save all the existing trim and most materials to save on cost. Overall we are VERY pleased with the quality work that was done as well as how quickly they were able to start/finish the job! And, his bid was FAR less than 2 others we received as well :) <br />"

"Along the east and north walls of our basement we were were getting water and dampness after heavy rains. The contract was for LAN to break up the concrete floors along the walls using a jack hammer. Once they had it broken up they carried by hand all the debris out of the basement. They had laid down protective walk ways to protect the floors and kept they boots clean too. After the removal they dug deeper down by the footings of the basement wall. They installed a drainage system so what ever water does get in under the footers will drain towards my sump-pump. They poured new concrete. Since that time we have had no issues with water. <br /> They also installed two new basement window as we were getting water coming in around the old windows.  <br /> They also had to repair the pipe exiting the sump-pump outside of the house. Over the years the pipe had become damage and LAN offered to fix it too. The additional charge was minimal compared to if I would to do it myself or contract someone different. <br /> Overall, LAN did a professional job from start to finish. Mr. Nordoff is very knowledgeable, polite and prompt. He worked with to get exactly the work needed at an affordable price and good value. We had been quoted by similar companies that insisted we do the entire basement floor/walls but LAN was able to access that only a portion needed repair.   <br /> <br /> <br />"

"Expert House Movers brought a crew of 6-8 & came in late August 2013 to start the process of raising & moving the house.  My husband had done all the prep work of disconnecting the utilities & removing the furnace, etc. They dug access ramps to the old foundation/basement with bobcats.  They poked good sized holes around the foundation so they could put in steel beams and jack up the house.  Our foundation was from 1917 & built from old creek gravel cement, so it was pretty tough.  It took three & half days to jack the house & move it over the driveway.  It seemed really fast to me.  The only thing to fall in the house was a picture off the piano.  We still had access to the house through a tall ladder to get clothes, etc. that we needed. <br /> We took over the process of arranging excavation, concrete pouring, and carpenters with more local contractors.  Expert does have concrete people & others they use in the St Louis area that know exactly the requirements needed for the new foundation. <br /> After the basement was poured & cured (curing takes about 3-4 weeks), Expert returned in October 2013 to move & set the house.  They had been in contact with the concrete man for specifications, but there were no slots for the beams when setting the house down.  A concrete worker had to come & cut those slots.  We had a carpenter on hand to finish the sill installment & make sure the sills for the permanent beams was correct & set the support posts in the basement.  We also had a friend's tractor help Expert's bobcat pull the house back over the foundation.  While all this was going on, Expert was jacking and moving supports & placing slider beams & raising & lowering the house.  The process was complete in about 2 1/2 days with care & precision.  Some of the cracks in our house even disappeared.  Great job guys. <br /> Our carpenters returned to build a staircase & some other requirements.  We are working on re-connecting utilities & returning the furnace, water heater, etc. to the new basement.  We plan to move back into the house in the first week or so in November 2013.  It's been a long process, but well worth it.  Made possible by Expert House Movers! <br />"

FAQs for concrete injection leveling mudjacking projects in Plainville, IN

Mudjacking and foam jacking differ significantly in both materials and methods. Mudjacking uses a cement-based slurry to fill voids beneath a slab, while foam jacking uses expanding polyurethane foam delivered under high pressure to achieve superior structural support. This material distinction enhances load-bearing strength and overall stability in your repair.

Mudjacking takes between one and three days to dry completely. During this time, it's important to avoid putting weight on the slab until it's fully cured. The drying time depends on the project size and environmental conditions. In contrast, polyurethane foam used in foam jacking can cure in as little as one hour.

No, mudjacking is not a permanent fix for sinking concrete. While it effectively lifts the slab and can last five to 10 years, it doesn't address underlying soil issues that may cause future sinking. For a more permanent solution, you might consider foam jacking or complete slab replacement, which can address deeper structural problems.
