"We have once again reached out to Joe Kim at J & K Home Improvements when we had a new project planned. We were completely satisfied when we replaced our siding and roof with Joe. Now Joe and his professional crew have replaced all our windows . There are never surprises or additions from when the job is quoted. Once again we are totally satisfied and delighted with their work!! It has been a stress free experience each and every time."

"I would highly recommend National Energy Contractors for their outstanding work on our new sunroom. After discovering their booth at the Naperville Rib Fest last year, we sought quotes from multiple companies. Although National Energy Contractors were not the cheapest option, they provided undeniable evidence of their exceptional craftsmanship. Dealing with contractors can be intimidating, as not all of them follow through on their promises. However, Peter Gatsch, the owner of Nat'l Energy, alleviated our concerns by sharing numerous favorable reviews from satisfied customers. Throughout the entire process, Peter maintained constant communication with us, starting from the moment we signed the contract. The project involved multiple stages, from securing permits to laying the foundation, building the room, and adding the final touches like siding. Each crew of workers demonstrated professionalism and pleasantness. Their work ethic displayed expertise in their respective specialties, and it was evident they were passionate about their craft. Although we encountered a few delays, the end result was well worth the wait. The sunroom is of the highest quality and solidly constructed. In hindsight, I would not have chosen a different builder, even if they had promised a quicker completion time. I am extremely satisfied with the final product, and I trust National Energy Contractors to deliver exceptional workmanship. In conclusion, National Energy Contractors surpassed our expectations by creating the most beautiful addition to our house. Their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to quality are unmatched. I highly recommend their services for any construction project."

"We received estimates from 3 different contractors for our soffit and fascia which was totally outdated. 1) Not only did Ryan Renovations offered the best estimate but also provided the best coverage for the entire project. 2) Ryan was very thorough and explained all the work needed as we went around the house while he was taking measurements. 3) The crew was very professional. They worked tirelessly in the cold February. They cleaned after each day that they finished. The workmanship was top notched. 4) A few weeks after the work was completed, we called for a minor issue that we noticed due to the weather conditions. Ryan responded immediately to my call. The crew came in and completed the work without even bothering us. 5) We were very pleased with the quality, professionalism and service that Ryan Renovations provided."

"Aaron was great to work with on our elevated deck project from start to finish. Safety and quality workmanship were our biggest priorities and we were quickly put at ease with how he explained the connection to the house and the support structure. He helped evaluate the site and made design and material recommendations that best suited our needs while accommodating our budget. He was patient and very knowledgeable in answering our many questions. Communication before and during the work was awesome. Very polite and professional at all times. In addition, the finished product looks AWESOME and is rock solid. Excellent craftsmanship! We couldn't be happier. For any future projects we'll definitely be going back to Clean Edge to do the work."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Plano, IL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
