Customers say: Quick response

"Jared was very professional and accommodating, his crew is very friendly and professional in all aspects of the job. They built a pergola and laid all the pavers around the pool. Install drainage for pool and house. They have been back for other jobs. Highly recommend this company. The backyard is the highlight of our new house. Nothing but compliments from family and friends."

Small jobs welcome

Been in the handyman field for a while with some experience in deck building, siding, trim(interior and exterior), backsplash and tile work as well. Ive done some plumbing and garage door services and now for full time I build high end metal building! Quality and ingenuity is always in mind so you or the next customer loves their long term project!

Tiles in place and ready for grout. Adjustable fixtures were put in to maintain proper spacing with the new thicker backsplash

"The patio job went flawlessly and I would recommend them for stone work. The second job was to remove plants, build a stone wall and put in new plants. The removal and stone work went great. The new plants were installed nicely. One of the larger conical boxwood had a small bare spot at the one bottom side but I assumed it would grow back. Plants were guaranteed for a year. I have now attempted to contact them 4 times as both azaleas have died and the one flawed boxwood has gotten worse. They have never responded back. I would highly recommend them for stone work but not for any planting. <br />"

"I highly recommend this company.  The team members (Zach, Ritchie, Sam and Jeremiah) were always professional, courteous, and friendly. They arrived when they said they would, worked consistently and cleanly, and when an unexpected repair became evident, explained the need for the repair in understandable and honest terms. The owner, Bob, came out a couple of days to check on the work, and I was impressed with his knowledge, commitment to his team, and his level of customer service.  Overall, this is the type of company I hope to work with when I need home repairs; they do quality work; they are reliable; they have great attitudes; they work consistently and cleanly, and in general, they are just very nice guys! My husband and I are very happy with the quality of the work and the commitment to customer service displayed. I would definitely use this company's services again. <br /> <br /> <br />"

"We had 3 bids for our patio- and we chose Builder's Stone and Masonry because of their promptness in returning our call and coming out for a bid.  The bid was actually several thousand dollars less than our other bids.  We worked with Chad- and he was wonderful!!!  He stopped by frequently to check on the progress and called every day to make sure we didn't have any questions or concerns.  The work crew was friendly and efficient.  We are shocked at how incredible our patio looks for such a fair price.  We ABSOLUTELY recommend this company for any stone work."

FAQs for outdoor kitchen building service projects in Platte City, MO

Building your own pizza oven can be a cost-effective option if you already possess the necessary firebricks or materials and have the skills to complete the project. When you have the required supplies on hand, you save on material costs and labor fees. However, if you need to source every component, a pre-made kit may not deliver the same savings.

Fire bricks are engineered to withstand the high temperatures generated inside a pizza oven, protecting the structure from cracking or spalling. Standard bricks can fail under intense heat, potentially damaging the oven and creating safety risks. By using true fire-rated bricks, homeowners maintain consistent cooking temperatures, preserve the oven’s structural integrity, and reduce the likelihood of costly repairs. The modest increase in material cost is offset by longer service life and safer operation.

An optimal pizza oven installation positions the opening exactly between 36 and 48 inches above the ground to guarantee clear visibility and safe, comfortable access. This height optimizes heat distribution and ergonomic use. In addition, dome height can vary: shorter domes produce the signature soft, charred crust of Neapolitan pies, whereas taller domes are ideal for generating the robust baking environment required for New York–style pizzas.
