"Called Weds morning and David and Kori were there by noon. They hydro jetted the corrugated drainage pipe from the source to the end and then backwards again to remove the obstruction. Free flow of water was quickly restored. They also jetted a second line from the drain site backwards and the return of that one was clear water as well. Cannot recommend this company highly enough. Promptness of service, very professional work ethic with great success, and very reasonable cost. Better yet they let this old Do it yourselfer watch and answered all my questions about what was going on. "Had a sewer backup on Friday, called Northshore Service Plumbers and they came out within a reasonable time and cleared the blockage. Since I didn’t have a clean-out outside, I asked if they could install one and Monday they showed up and installed one. Not a small job considering a hedge was in the way. After the install of the clean-out, they ran a camera through the line and found a separation in the old line close to the sidewalk. They said they could replace the old clay piping with new PVC piping and that could solve the root problem which was causing the blockage. I gave them the go ahead. They dug down about 5 or 6 feet all the way to the sidewalk, not an easy job. The next day, they removed the old line, put in the new PVC line and I had a brand new working sewer line. The next day, they put in a gravel base and back filled the hole. These guys are the hardest working guys I’ve ever seen. They kept me informed of the progress every step of the way. I must say I am very happy"

"For starters this guy (Len) and his crew did an outstanding job. I am really picky and not exactly easy to work for - I will admit. I don't mind paying a fair price but I expect the work to be excellent, not just good, but excellent. Nothing worse than lousy worksmanship.
This painter exceeded my expectations. I wanted my ceilings painted white and the walls a different color, plus I have crown molding to deal with and I needed the lines to be perfect - they were. I just can't say enough on how happy I am with the work. It feels like I am in a new home. I don't think I will ever look for other bids when I need painting after this experience.
The price was very competitive as well, plus  he honored a discount for me looking him up on Angies List. Other bids came in higher and the contractors were not nearly as responsive as Len. He came to my house promply to a**** and provide a bid. I found him to be very patient and very polite. He was very helpful with suggestions with color and type of paint. When it came time for the work he was on time and finished on time. My house was spotless when he was done. Prior to payment he wanted to make sure I was happy with the work, if not he would make it right.
I rarely have an experience this pleasant when dealing with contractors. If I could provide an A+ rating I would. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a top quality painter. I strongly doubt you will be disappointed with Len and his crew.
I will be needing more work done and will not hesitate to have him do the work.

"I'll recommend Windy City Rooter to anyone that will listen. My initial call to them was for a camera inspection on my sewer line. Shannon showed up and made sure to answer any questions I had before beginning any work. After putting the camera down the line, a blockage of tree roots was discovered. Shannon went over the options on how to proceed and offered his advice when asked. He gave up front costs on all the options, so that I could make as an informed decision as possible. To make a long story short, I decided to replace the clay tile sewer line with PVC. Shannon got me a contract and I put the 50% deposit down, he also took the time to explain what was and wasn't going to be included in this work. Fast forward to a week later, the permit is approved, materials dropped off and a crew of guys shows up ready to work. Cort took the time to go over the scope of work again and answer any questions I had. Shortly after Cort and his crew started, Max showed up to see if they needed anything. Over the course of the next 6 hours, the old sewer line was dug up, the new sewer line was put in place and the trench was filled in. Cort explained about how the trench will settle and level out and what my city will be coming to do as cleanup. The crew did a sweep of my property to make sure nothing was forgotten or left behind and cleaned up everything. This is all a very long winded way of saying Windy City Rooter did an exceptional job. Oh and did I mention that it was done at a very affordable price? Because it was. After talking with Max, he makes it very clear he want's to save the customer money whenever possible. 5 Stars 10/10 would recommend. If you have any plumbing problems, Windy City Rooter should be your first call."

I initially had a poor interaction with Mike that did not result in solving the above plumbing problem above. However, he has since connected with me and resolved the issue fairly.  He did an excellent job the first time I hired him (successfully unclogging a tub drain). Even though the second time we hired him was not successful (and we had to hire a second plumber to resolve the problem) we will use him in the future because he reached out to resolve our concerns in a professional manner.
