"Some of the sections of my 13 year old fence had started to lean about a year ago, which didn't make me very happy as the original contractor who installed it said the fence would be good for 20 years.  This spring, the strong winds we experienced blew 3 sections to the ground, so I knew I had to fix it.  I was not going to use the original contractor again, so I called several contractors for estimates, only to be disappointed in finding out that either they do not repair fences installed by other contractors or they would not be able to do the job for 3 or more months.
I then called Dan at Top Line Fence, who came out to look at the fence and told me he could repair it and do the job within 6-7 weeks.  His estimate also seemed reasonable and he said he would charge me no more that the estimate, and less if the job went well.  He also informed me that the original contractor used 3.5" fence posts instead of the 4.0" fence posts which are standard, and that likely contributed to the fence's early demise.
About 7 weeks later, Dan's crew of 5 guys showed up on the appointed day bright and early to do the job.  I talked to Jake, the crew leader, to make sure he understood which of the posts (8 total) needed to be replaced and which did not (6 total).  For the posts that did not need to be replaced, I asked that they fortifity them by adding more concrete at the base to provide extra strength and also fill some gaps that had appeared, which provided a pathway for water intrustion.
The crew took about 3 hours to do the job, with Dan also arriving to help about half way through.  The repaired fence looks good with properly sized fence posts that appear to be of good quality.  I also got new fence post caps for all the posts which look good and are more sturdy than the old ones.  Dan charged me a little less than the amount of my bid due to the job going well, as he said he would.
My only complaint is that one of the posts that was not replaced was not fortified with more concrete at the base as per my instruction.  As a result, it is looser and more wobbly than it should be while the rest of the posts (both new and old) are tight and solid.  I hope to have this addressed some time in the future when Top Line may be working in my neighborhood.
But overall, it was a pleasure to work with Dan and Top Line Fence and I highly recommend them.

"Very happy with owner, salesman, and work crew. They rescued me after another contractor started the fence, then walked off the job. They put up most of the fence in the winter, put up temporary fence in the spots that could not be done due to the season, then returned in the spring to finish. They were very considerate of my indecisiveness by making suggestions that would fit my needs. They were very tolerant of, and pleasant to, my two obnoxious dogs. Since the fence has been in place, three different people have stopped to ask me who did the fence, because it looks so nice from the street."

"This is my second time using American Fence. The first was a cedar batton board privacy fence at a rental property I own. The second was brown vinyl chain link and galvanized chain link at my residential home. Overall the installation of both fences was tremendous. Everything went on schedule and in the manner which I was told it would. I was able to purchase both fences at a cost of roughly 10% less than other bids I had recieved. There was a downpayment paid for all material.
Final payment, however, was not given until after completion and a final walk-thru. Upon conclusion my yard was so clean it seemed they had not even been there. I could not have been more satisfied. The owner of the company worked side by side with his employees, always something refreshing to see in my opinion. They were also very helpful and polite toward me and my family.

He ran into a snag due to my older plumbing under the sink and made a run to Home Depot for some additional parts. He got back and finished up the install without any problems.
