Braintree Garage Doors responded to our home on the same day I called. Their serviceman, Dave, was very polite and thorough, in his FREE diagnostic check. He did not just simply tell me they werenâ t salvageable, but explained why they were probably fried in the storm, and what could be done to most likely prevent it from happening again. He emailed me an estimate to replace the two units, while still at our home. Having had another company out earlier that was not nearly as thorough or responsive (and had a much higher estimate), I contacted Braintree the next morning to do the job. Dave was sent out the same day to complete the work. He was again very polite and thorough, and clearly takes pride in his work. All of the old parts were cleaned up and removed from the property upon completion. He took time to show me how everything worked, and was very patient in answering every question I had. It should also be noted that the owner, who I spoke with by phone, was also very personable. In addition, they also applied a military discount to my bill, which this vet greatly appreciated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND."

"Called on a Friday got an appointment for Saturday between four and five actually got a phone call to see if they could come earlier. Tech came out took a look at our garage door and opener took my budget into consideration installed the new garage door opener belt driven instead of chain . Also did a rebuild so I got new springs seeing the garage door was still in good condition. Technician was fantastic left everything clean. Technician also showed me how to work the new door opener and keypad . I highly recommend this company"

"Sales Rep/Technician was a very hard sell. His English was only fair and that complicated things. Buy, Buy, Buy. He wasn't about to let me go. I hired him even though his prices seemed a bit high, but I needed to garage my car before the winter storm hits later this week. The work was performed very quickly, but the 'package' of the door opener was stripped down when it came to accessories. We only got one remote and of course, the wall switch. We only received an electronic invoice, and none of the normal paperwork, manuals, etc. for the opener itself. I only went with these guys because the car was stuck outside, and I always garage it, plus the storm coming later this week would've buried the car. I don't have good balance so having to manually clean the car was too dangerous. Beware of the hard-sell and I let him know that I was aware of that maneuver. They position themselves out of cars with no real office and I believe they probably target seniors, with the hard sell."

I have owned this house for 29 years and it was the first house i ever owned and the garage door was the original so had no knowledge of the whole garage door market. They were very knowledgeable about product and had a really detailed brochure of the different door options, textures, styles etc. From initial meeting to actual install was under 3 weeks. They gave me a 'window' of time they would arrive and was just outside it by 10min. They entire process of taking down (and taking away) the old door and installing the new door with a garage door opener was about 3 hours. Good tutorial by installer on how to use the remote door opener, the wireless keypad opener, and the opener placed in garage. Also, explained and demonstrated how to release door opener and turn it into a manual open garage door in the event of power outage. they picked up after themselves very well with no debris left in garage or out in driveway. Would not hesitate to hire or recommend them."

Upon setting appt he arrived promptly, Explained how the garage door opener worked and gave me a quick tutorial. He even came by a few days later to assist me with the door and opener, when one of my contractors goofed up and had me thinking there was an issue with the door.
