"Apollo and his crew showed up on time. This was a mobile home front door and wanted to replace it with a standard house door and add a Larson retractable screen storm door so had to open the door way height and width. The crew worked all day even during lunch there was someone working. The door was completed that day. I had to go purchase the Larson door and they came back the next morning finish the job. The crew and Apollo were professional and polite. The finished product turned out great. I will hire again for any more jobs that I need done."

"Everything was done very professionally and in a timely manner. The person who performed the estimate for repairs was very knowledgeable and helpful in determining what needed to be done to restore the damage properly. Their employees were helpful, courtesy and very good at their jobs. Once the job was complete it is as if the damage never existed. I am very pleased with Doc's and will use them for future repairs and upgrades. I also strongly recommend them for anyone who has need of this type service."

"Because we had moved our furniture into the tiled kitchen that Mike would run his water hose through, I asked him if there was any chance the hose might leak and cause damage to our furniture. He assured us that it was not a concern of his. Mike arrived on time and did a pre-treatment spray on the stains that we were hopeful would be removed. Unfortunately after cleaning all carpets, the stains remained. We asked if he could spend more time to remove the stains, but were told he needed to get to his next job. Needless to say we were disappointed. Well there WAS water on the kitchen floor that had occurred during the cleaning process. As Mike was gathering up the hoses, I started wiping up the floor fearful that my furniture would get wet or someone would slip on the tile floor. He did not offer to help clean up and did not seem concerned that his service had not met our expectations. On the positive side, the carpet was very clean except for the stains.  <br />"

"A call was placed to Steve's Handyman Service on late Friday night. We'd sprung a leak in our irrigation system.  Steve had me turn off the valve and showed up Saturday morning as promised, incidentally his day off.  In no time he had the leak repaired as well as with installing a new toilet. It was such a pleasure to know and rely on such a responsible man as Steve. I would recommend Steve's Handyman Service to any one needing that extra hand. <br />"

"We worked together on the overall plan -- layout and sequencing of all work. We ordered custom racking and they did it all. These guys are excellent to work with and everything from just the right stain shade to tile design was expertly managed."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Pomona Park, FL

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
