"DAV Construction was hired to replace a damaged roof and gutters. They did a professional job of discussing the bid with me. However, this was more than a roofing job. I had an issue with water seeping through my second floor brick that continued to damage my interior and patio cover. We all thought it was a poor trim installation. Alex took a hard core position of helping me correct the problem. We had to repair any openings in the existing brick and applied a water sealant. I even had a phone call several months later after a heavy rain storm to see if we had any visible leaks. All was good and the extra effort was was high on the scale of taking care of the customer. I would personally recommend Alex and his team to anyone."

A couple things I learned from this experience: there may be some damage that is not visible until the existing siding is removed, be sure you talk about that possibility and what the costs might entail; also budget in for new exterior light fixtures and a new doorbell, because your house will be so nice that you won't want to put the old fixtures back on.

They gave me an excellent bid price and even after I looked at the damage in better light and told them there was more to be repaired, they still didn't charge me more.
