"Karoly replaced many impact windows over 10 years ago. When a problem arose with several windows, we called Karoly and Jesse Laskowske, Operations Manager, came to my home to inspect and secured the problem. He also directed me how to submit a warranty claim and was instrumental in dealing with the adjuster. When replacement parts arrived, 2 Karoly employees spent 4 hours making the repairs. This level of service is extraordinary, especially after so many years. I strongly recommend anyone looking to replace windows and doors call Karoly Windows and Doors. Many companies sell and install windows, but support years later is rare."

"I recently had the pleasure of hiring Alpine Home Services for an air duct cleaning, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From start to finish, Walter and his team were exceptionally thorough, ensuring every vent and duct was meticulously cleaned. Their professionalism stood out as they arrived on time, dressed appropriately, and handled all equipment with care. Respect for my home was evident throughout the process—they took precautions to protect my floors and furniture, leaving no mess behind. The pricing was very reasonable, offering great value for the high-quality service provided. I was particularly impressed with how efficiently they completed the job without cutting any corners. Communication was seamless; they kept me informed before, during, and after the service, answering all my questions with clarity. Overall, I highly recommend Alpine Home Services for anyone seeking reliable, respectful, and well-priced air duct cleaning."

"Hired Total Service Contracting for the labor portion of our remodel as we had gutted the room previously and wanted to purchase the bathroom items ourselves from multiple vendors. Had TSC do drywall changes, re-frame exterior door, install new tub/shower with wall tiles and glass doors, new toilet, new vanity/sink, new lights, new exhaust fan and new floor tile beyond bathroom to hall. We have no complaints at all. Steve, owner, and Jorge are patient, engaging and professional. Will use TSC again with no hesitation."

"There is a lot of so-called glass company's in the central Fla area. If you want to hire a pro with Integrity, then look no further than Randall Akkerman. This was a tough repair that no other glass company would take the time to consider. I knew it was going to be a tough repair and I was expecting to pay a premium to have it replaced. The problem that I found out is that there are NO true Glaziers in the business anymore. Not until i spoke with Randall and Rodger. Two guys did a job that all the other glass companies wouldn't even consider because it took skill and knowledge they didn't possess. I'm sure glad I found them and they will be the only Glass company that I call on in the future. Don't waste your time calling the rest of the glass repair companies in the business. Call Emergency Glass Service and ask for Randall. You will be glad you did!!! Thom Hollingsworth."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Port Orange, FL

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
