"I would highly recommend going through Freedom Systems for all of your security needs.  Jimmie came out and gave me a quote for a new security system and a high def camera system, he really knows his stuff.  We decided to forgo the camera system since we were able to integrate a camera into the security system.  Even though they were busy and short one installer, they went above and beyond to get our security system installed within a week.  The installers were quick, efficient and didn't leave a mess. There was an equipment malfunction, but they came back out next day to replace the part.  I am extremely happy with the whole experience.

"Excellent experience.   Solterra did everything they said they would do, and they did it well.  Our salesperson was Aimee and she was very knowledgable about solar energy and how our rooftop panels would connect to and interface with our electricity provider, PSE.   I asked her alot of questions about the details and she had all the answers.   She was informative and very pleasant throughout.   There was never any pressure.   She gave us the facts and let us decide.  Truthfully, the photovoltaics system really just sells itself.  She was up front about all the costs so there were no surprises, and there were none.  The installers did a great job, too.   There was a minor hitch with part of a bracket but they fixed it right away.  I actually told their supervisor they could wait for a few weeks to fix it, but he told me he wanted to do it right away because completing their job correctly is their priority.   I have dealt with a lot of contractors over the years, and in my experience you don't always learn the true charactor of a contractor until there is an issue.   The way the contractor deals with any issues that come up is the true test, and Solterra exceeded my expectations.  Our panels look great on our roof, and in fact you have to look closely to even see them.  They are working great and generating electricity for us.   I just had Solterra add a monitoring system so I can see exactly what our system is doing.   Our panels have been on the roof for about three weeks and so far we have generated about 10% more electricity than we have purchased.   Not bad for a family of four.   Of course this is June which is one of the best solar months of the year.  I highly recommend Solterra.

"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."

"For the most part it went well.  When the wood panel above the garage was replaced the panel was not cut properly to size when first installed but fortunately he was able to cut the panel while it was in place.  All of the work was done pretty much within the three hours allocated.

"Jared is fantastic! Super prompt scheduling & thorough communication right from the start. He was able to come out much sooner than I expected. He was running a little later than he thought on the day of the appointment & let me know right away, which was fine. He is very personable & knowledgeable, and his work is efficient & clean. No surprise costs, everything was as previously agreed to. Even though I wasn't paying for the furnace or A/C to be cleaned he still took the time to look at them & show me what he found, for future reference. The whole cleaning process only took two hours, and we got to see how filthy everything had been plus the random objects he'd found in the ducts. As a new homeowner of a 'light fixer' I was relieved to have such a painless experience! I am SO GLAD we had this service done and I would hire Jared again or refer him to friends & family in a heartbeat. Highly recommended."
