He explained what the problems were with the original installation and then cleaned the tile and replaced the grout. He also installed shower bars which will help us from falling in the shower. "We purchased a home and our first undertaking was to install tile in the formal dining room and carpet in the library. The owner, Eric, spent a lot of time with us understanding the "look" we wanted and helped us choose the products accordingly. He has a great selection from which to choose, btw. We scheduled the installation about a month in advance. Eric's tile guy was AMAZING. I've never seen a contractor work so fast, meticulously and competently. He tore out the old flooring and laid the tile on day one. Left no mess and hauled away all the old flooring. He came back the next day and grouted the tile. It looks fantastic. It is one of the most "wow-factor" rooms in our home. The next day, the carpet guy arrived and we had our new carpet installed in a couple of hours. Again - a hard-working, fast and very competent worker. Overall, we have been extremely happy with this whole process. Not only was Eric great in helping us decide what to get - but his crews were efficient, fast and do great work. I've hired a lot of contractors in my years, but this has to have been one of the better experiences. I'd use them again. HIGHLY recommended! A+"

"Their price was good, not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive. Adrian was great at getting back to me and scheduling. The part I was most unsatisfied with was his and his crews professionalism and quality of work. The first day when his crew showed up to take old tile out they left drops of white water down my stairs. Now, they did clean that up, but only after I mentioned it later. They used foul language, left garbage in my garbage, and played loud music. This is partially my fault since I was not home during that portion and my teenagers after school were working on homework, but didn't feel comfortable saying anything. In regards to the garbage, it wouldn't be so bad except the small can became full. When working in the master bathroom they left grout all over the handrail, let a ton of grout go down the drain and it dried. The window surrounding the shower in my bathroom was clearly not wiped down after they were done with their work. They broke a tile on a spot they were not even working. They tried to deny that they broke it, but did end up fixing it. I had to have Adrian come back twice to fix sloppy work on the grout. There was air bubbles and missing grout entirely. After we paid him, I noticed outside the bathroom window was this red substance all on the outside of the window, down the outside of my house. To top it off they ruined the boxes of tiles as they were opening them and opened unnecessary boxes, therefore making it impossible to return unused tiles. Now, I take responsibility for this next part, but I made an assumption that the expert would let me know if I needed to do something. Aidan never told me I should have picked out new hardware before he put the tiles on and now we can't update them since it only fits certain kinds. I would not hire this company again, especially if you are wanting high quality work. Maybe if you have a rental."

"My wife and I highly recommend Modern Flooring Services. We had 450 square feet of an irregular shaped floor covered with carpet upstairs that we wanted to replace with wood flooring. Modern Flooring Services provided a contractor to provide an initial estimate and a list of supplies needed to purchase. Then they sent a consummate professional and craftsman to install our floor. His name was Patrick, and he started by explaining what we should expect when he removed the carpet, prepared the subfloor, and then installed the wood. He provided different options for how the wood could be angled based on the floor layout. Then he went to work, and we can’t praise his work ethic enough. He is one of the hardest workers I know. He also did a great job of minimizing the dust. If we opt to install new flooring in the future, we will definitely hire Modern Flooring and request Patrick to install the floor."

"Todd is really easy to work with. He worked around our schedule. While doing the work our house stayed very clean and each time we came home it was essentially as if they were never there. The tile guy took 12 x 12 marble tile and cut, honed, and polished it into our specified dimensions. Todd also was able to creatively work around a few of our house's quirks. He does not have a plumber that he works with so we did have to get our own plumber which ended up costing us quite a bit. Overall, a painless kitchen redo for a reasonable price and fantastic results!"

He is not only a SUPER professional in his field and can do miracles with flooring, he is super personable and flexible.
We had a change of plans for our installation and he just listened and said, and quot;No problemand quot; and worked around what we needed. He is super easy going and accommodating.
Booking him was easy, prices are super reasonable, he always answers his phone, he had been installing carpets for 25 years and is very knowledgeable about all flooring.
He installed carpet in two of our bedrooms and it looks beautiful.

"If I could give this business an A+++ I would. John walked into a huge mess of a carpet - a cat had been allowed to urinate all over it for years, and for half a dozen reasons it was never replaced. He was enormously compassionate toward our predicament, and agreed to take the work, while I think other contractors would not have.
The old pad had to be scraped up before the new one could be laid. It was back-breaking work, and in the end paid off enormously. The carpet looks awesome. I haven't had any problems or had to call them back.
John was easy to get a hold of by both phone and email when I had questions, and always treated me with respect and courtesy. I don't know him on a personal level, but I can tell by his actions that he's a good guy, and takes his work seriously.

Everything went well, except the painting portion. 

The drywall, removal and install and the mud portion was excellent quality and service

The window removal and install was excellent quality

The painting preps and quality standards of hiding the nails and caulking was not up to where it should have been. It took two trips to have the painter complete the project where it needed to be.

Otherwise would recommend this company they are punctual, professional and do quality work and ensure that the customer is satisfied with the job.
