"I was recommended to Bradley Builders Inc. by a trusted neighbor. Bradley Builders, Inc. is an outstanding roofing contractor with a personal touch. Brad Arensberg, the owner, is a constant professional who truly has a passion for roof installations. His roofing knowledge, high standards, and customer service are unparalleled. I was thoroughly educated on the roofing installation process. Brad also recommended shingle colors that would complement my home’s exterior. On the day of installation, Brad and team arrived at my home promptly as he stated. Brad served as the onsite supervisor while getting his hands dirty. Brad and team efficiently and meticulously completed my new roof in two days. Each day, my home was thoroughly cleaned after the completion of work. Brad is a man of integrity which is refreshing and hard to find in a contractor nowadays. He answered all my questions and responded to phone calls or emails within 24 hours (usually in the same business day). There were no surprises upon the completion of my new roof. Brad delivered exactly what he stated. I absolutely love my new roof. I have received many compliments from my neighbors, family, and friends. It was a pleasure to have Brad install my roof. His quality work speaks for itself. My experience with Brad was excellent. I strongly recommend Bradley Builders, Inc. for a professional roof installation. They are truly worth the investment. I would not hesitate to call on Bradley Builders, Inc. for any future roofing needs."

"The folks at Utmost Restorations are some of the nicest and most professional contractors we have ever worked with. They do exactly what they said they would, when they would do the work and their craftsmanship with masonry work was top notch.. Mark Huffler and his sons were all courteous and with the "utomost" of professionalism. Their prices are compeitiive and you cannot go wrong if you use them for any of your masonry or other concrete contracting work. 5 Stars for "ALL" of the people at Utmost Restorations .............Tim M. from Hilliard, OH"

"We had an outdoor fireplace built in 2009. Winter of 2016 pieces of stone veneer started to come off. The original contractor spread cement in a downward angle away from the terracotta flu to the chimney's edge. The edge was not sufficiently sealed, so water got in between the stone veneer and cement block, froze and thawed, and, eventually, led to pieces of the stone veneer coming off. Integrity masonry removed the stone veneer down to the roof line of the outdoor structure, scored the underlying cement block substrate for better adhesion, replaced all the removed stone veneer, added counter flashing where the stone and roof met, and added a formed, poured cement crown with overhang and a cut in drip edge. The owner and his crew took approximately two and one half days to make the repairs and complete the project. The gentlemen cleaned up their work site nicely at the end of each day. The owner was a good listener who made sure all our questions were answered and concerns addressed to our satisfaction. They not only made repairs, they improved upon the finish quality of the original work. We sincerely thank the Integrity Masonry team for a positive experience."

"I had crumbling steps and a back cement sidewalk behind my duplex. There was quite a slope to the back yard as well which prevented me from even attempting to install a paver/brick patio myself. I had 5 Angie's list companies give me quotes and Correy Fletcher was the most professional, punctual and gave me a rendering of the job along with the quote. It was exactly was I was looking for--it was actually better than I what I had envisioned. While I wanted to write a review sooner, I'm glad that I've waited over 18 months. As I said there was quite a slope to my yard and a small retaining wall had to be built to support the deck, which they filled up with dirt and grass seed, however after 2 winters and lots of traffic, the patio is still in perfect condition and my neighbors and I use it regularly. I would use Fletcher Brick Paving again in a heartbeat! I don't see how to leave photos or I would, Correy's rendering looks just like the final product!"

FAQs for brick or stone siding: install or completely replace projects in Powell, OH

Brick siding offers numerous advantages, including high durability and resistance to harsh weather conditions, requiring minimal maintenance and lasting for generations. It provides natural insulation, enhancing energy efficiency by regulating indoor temperatures year-round. Brick is fire-resistant, improving home safety, and reduces external noise for a quieter indoor environment. Its timeless aesthetic appeal boosts curb appeal and can increase your home's resale value.

Yes, you can add brick to an existing house. One option is to remove the current siding and install full brick masonry, which involves laying traditional bricks with mortar for a solid brick exterior. Alternatively, you can opt for brick veneer siding, a thinner layer of real or manufactured brick applied over the existing structure. Brick veneer is typically more affordable and easier to install while still providing the aesthetic benefits of brick. Both methods can enhance your home's appearance and value.

Yes, installing brick siding often provides a significant return on investment. With an average ROI of around 77%, and some returns exceeding 80%, brick siding enhances curb appeal, energy efficiency, and longevity, making your home more attractive to potential buyers and potentially increasing resale value.

Brick siding is known for its exceptional longevity, often lasting over 100 years when properly maintained. Regular maintenance, like repointing mortar joints, ensures its durability over time. Brick veneer, while thinner than full brick masonry, is durable and can last up to 50 years or more with proper care. Both options offer long-lasting protection and value for your home.

When choosing brick siding, consider your budget, as costs can vary depending on brick type and installation method. Also, consider your desired aesthetic; different bricks offer various colors, textures, and styles to complement your home's architecture. Installation time and complexity are factors, with options like brick veneer being quicker and less labor-intensive than full brick masonry. Additionally, assess the maintenance requirements and durability to select the best option for your long-term needs.

Alternatives to brick siding include vinyl siding, which is cost-effective and low-maintenance and offers a variety of colors and styles. Wood siding provides a natural, classic look but requires more upkeep to prevent weather damage. Fiber cement siding is durable and can mimic the appearance of wood or masonry without the high maintenance. Each alternative has its own advantages, so consider factors like budget, aesthetics, and maintenance when making your choice.
