You can tell immediately the pride Sal and his crew take in their work. The installers were as friendly as the owner, they kept the area clean and and were very considerate of me and my family. "I used KWD Electric 2 times in the recent past and was planning to write a review after the 3rd and final visit to my mother's house. The first to jobs went well, one "simple" (replacing 6 outlets) and one "complex" upgrading the service panel plus a couple other items. Ken was late both times and his responsiveness to my initial contact took a little too long but I overlooked that. The 3rd visit he was to replace all switches and outlets in the kitchen (after the renovation). On July 30th Ken's email stated a quote would follow in a  day or two. It is now August 26th and I am still waiting. Needless to say this is very rude and extremely unprofessional.

Update: Ken did apologize for forgetting and stated he would not take on more than he could schedule.

"I bought a special offer (via Angie's List) for HomeMade Design to provide a design for one room in my house.  I was in the process of moving into a new home, organizing it, etc. so really wanted help with some interior design.  But I was so busy that the deal ended up expiring before I could use it.  I contacted HomeMade Design and they told me that all they could do was give me credit for the amount of the deal toward a future purchase.  The thing is, I can't afford their prices (even with the credit), so I ended up throwing money away.  My fault, but I wish the deal could have been a little more flexible in terms of expiration.  We (Homemade Design and I) had never started the project so what difference did it make if we started one year later?  I still need a design and they have the money.....why can't we start now?  Note:  I would have gladly paid a little more to compensate for inflation of costs, etc. during the  time lapsed."

"I purchased two room designs from Jill for the purpose of redoing my living room and kitchen because we would be removing the wall that separates the two rooms. I sent her the plans for my entire house including electrical, images of the rooms, a list of wishes, and several pages of mood boards so she could get a feel for what we wanted to do.
She had no problem with the living room but wanted extra for the kitchen. Most designers charge extra for kitchens and bathrooms so even though that exclusion was not on the offer I purchased in July 2011  (it is noted on her offers now) , I figured it was fair if it was a little bit more. It ended up being a lot more then what I was willing to pay for an e-design. We both agreed that the best course would be to start the refund process.
Jill was polite and responsive throughout the entire exchange. I think she would be fine to work if she were located in my area."
