"We can't say enough good things about Chuck and his crew! We had a total kitchen remodel done that involved tearing down walls and installing new support beams in the attic. Everything from electrical to drywall, to installing new cabinets. From start to finish Chuck was easy to work with. Phone calls were always returned. The work was done in the time frame that was quoted. Every effort was made to contain the "construction dust" and the work area was cleaned and vacuumed before they left for the day. I wish we were able to post photos to show you what an excellent job they did. If you are looking for a contractor that is honest, experienced and a pleasure to work with then Milliman & Sons Builders is who you need to call. Not only would we use them again, we already have Chuck working on our next remodeling project."

"Scott and his team are wonderful. After recently being scammed by a contractor that we hired to remodel my parent's home, I had to quickly find someone who is honest and reliable. I called Illinois Remodeling Consultants and explained our situation to Scott and he was quick to help us. He immediately went over to the property and gave us his honest observations. Because my parents were taken advantage of, he made sure that they did not have the same experience. His prices are completely fair and he even helped us with that. He took care of everything. We are so grateful to have Scott on our side. He is the best project manager and makes sure that everything is done. We are having the bathroom and floors remodeled and the back door fixed. "Adam was very professional and was very accommodating. He was very easy to communicate with and quickly responded via text about any questions that came up regarding the project. The only issue we ran into were the subcontractors that did some of the work. The flooring which was the final piece of our project was delayed due to the flooring company not being able to provide the flooring we wanted in a reasonable amount of time. The drywallers were a bit sloppy and didn't keep things as clean as I thought they should. Those 2 things were not Adam's fault so I don't think that should reflect bad on him. The work was completed how I wanted it to be when it was all said and done. I would recommend using Blumenshine construction again for any other projects we have in the future. We may add a 1/2 bathroom in our basement in the future and I would have confidence that Blumenshine construction would be able to provide high quality work."

"Steve and crew did a fantastic job remodeling my bathroom and making it handicap accessible. My Dad is moving back home with me after recovering from hip surgery and has some mobility challenges so I was needing something a little more than your standard remodel. However, Steve and team were able to come up with the right solution pretty much on their own. The number of and placement of handicap bars is spot on. Other details like the color of tile and layout were decided by Steve and crew, which turned out beautifully. Steve was very flexible working with my schedule and dealing with any changes that came up during the project. He did a great job adjusting to those changes, relaying to his workers what should be done, and coming up with cost-effective and practical solutions where alterations were needed or problems arose. Steve is not only passionate about what he does but when you add in the high quality of workmanship and affordable price together it makes for a very satisfying total experience. The bathroom remodel was completed satisfactorily and within the needed time frame. I highly recommend Steve for bathroom remodeling and/or probably any thing else his team does because they all did a superb job! - Randy"
