"If you have spoken to the rest now hire the best Liam Neary Construction. I bought a house last year and have probably replaced almost everything. I have worked with at least 20 contractors and not one of them comes close to the talent, hard work, dedication, and professionalism of Liam Neary. Everything he does from the moment he enters your home is done with thoughtfulness, skill, and integrity. He will listen to you, explain things to you, and give you honest feedback based on his vast knowledge and experience. He will send you a detailed estimate of the work needed within a couple of days and follow up with you. He is always available and gets back to you quickly. He respects your time and shows up at your home every day at 7 am and works 6 days a week. He checks in daily and several times a day if necessary to keep the project moving. He has a clean-as-you-go mentality keeping everything neat and orderly. He loves what he does, and it shows in the beautiful, finished products of his work. He will treat your home like his own. Do yourself a favor hire Neary Construction, you will have the work of a true craftsman."

"Bob was prompt and detail oriented in doing a couple home repairs. He thoroughly cleaned up the spaces after completing the work which we greatly appreciated. He was reasonably priced and very professional. "

"John and his crew did a fantastic job with our small remodeling project of turning a 3bd/1ba into a 2bd/2ba. I interviewed about 7 contractors for the job and John was by far the most personable, quality oriented, and reasonable. Throughout the process, he was great about providing his expert opinion but I never felt pressured in any situation. I had a vision for what I wanted and John was there to execute and provide guidance. My partner and I are first time home buyers and I was very worried about navigating the Boston system for renovations. John took care of everything and even though we had some hiccups with the city he was a great communicator and kept me updated every step of the way. At the end of each day he'd either send a text or call to tell me about the work done, any issues that we may possibly run into, and what was coming next. The quality of his work was excellent as well as the team of individuals he employed. Him and his team kept the site pretty clean and maintained a good relationship with the people in the other units in the building. All in all the project went extremely well; we finished within the quoted time frame and within budget! A feat I didn't think possible after all the horror stories I'd read. We've been living in our new home for about 2 months now and couldn't be happier. I would 100% recommend Moylan Contracting for any renovation needs and would absolutely use them again."

Customers say: True professional

"Richard is a wonderful person to work with. Great communication and very easy going. He knows his stuff! He was able to accomodate the design needed for additions in my 1949 Cape Cod style home, as well as redesign on the interior. He lived more than an hour away, but was willing to travel out to my home for measurements! This was a huge plus. He was able to coordinate the printing of blueprints, so I could pay for them and have them sent to my home, since he lived a distance away. I would highly recommend him to anyone, in need of an architect, for a project, on an older home. He was such a pleasure to work with!"

"I was buying a new house, the home inspector had some questions about the attic joists and suggested I have a professional take a look at them. I needed it done quickly and I called three contractors. Matt from MMP was the only one that called me back the same day and agreed to come look at them the next day. He showed up on time, suggested a remedy and gave me an estimate. After buying the house I had him complete the work. It was done as promised in a very tight and dirty attic space, they cleaned up before leaving. I also chose Matt to replace my roof after getting three estimates. The crew did the complete job, chimney flashing, ice and water shield, small roof repair and venting channels in the attic. Clean up was great, no mess left in the yard. He was not the lowest estimate but all the work was done without any additional charges. I was very pleased with the results."

"Mr. Kenny is a master carpenter, builder and contractor. I cannot say enough about his skills and attention to detail. He knows his business and works just as hard as his men. <br /> I have had the opportunity to refer Mr. Kenny to a few friends and associates. He has constructed what might be referred to as mansions that were and are architectural and tradesmen's masterpieces. I know other contractors in the area who say that he simply the best woodworker/carpenter that they have ever known.  <br /> Mr. Kenny is on time, orderly, clean and thorough. He has an unusually fine eye for detail and in some instances can reduce design costs and the need for an architect.  <br /> I have learned that when it comes to home renovations one gets what one pays for. The beauty of obtaining a first class job ids that you get to enjoy it for as long as you are there and then you sell it for more than you paid for it. That's what Mr. Kenny has done to my living space and I would recommend him without hestitation. <br />"

"Absolutely AMAZING job! We have been searching for a general contractor for almost 6 months to take care of several projects on the exterior of our home. We had worked with Stellar Painting before when our insurance company paid for a door and window repair. After a phenomenal job and a great experience, I called them again to see if, by some miracle, they could handle a list of repairs for the exterior of our home. After coming out, giving an estimate, and providing a start time - I couldn't believe how quickly everything was done! They fixed everything (and that was one heck of a list)! Our deck is so beautiful, I can't stop staring at it. Light poles that a previous masonry company installed are standing tall and proud (versus lump-sided like they have been for years now!) The list goes on. The exterior of our home looks brand new thanks to them. I can't believe how quick and easy it all was. Love the crew as well - Monique is amazing and Eduardo is SO nice and extremely talented! Everyone that came out was super sweet. They will definitely be my go-to from now on."

Customers say: Quality work

"Edian and his crew were so professional and kind. I say kind because we did not have a general contractor so Edian had to deal directly with me-the homeowner. I have no experience in project management and our kitchen project was a complete gut job-down to the studs including the floor. Edian was patient with me and discussed all my concerns - as small and as big with a smile and kindness. He even got down on the floor with me to discuss the threshold situation we had from tile to wood floor. No question was too stupid for him to answer. We had a huge delay midway thru the project -we discussed our options - made a plan and Edian followed through. Meaning he stopped our project for several weeks and returned on the day he said that he would. I can not say enough about the work. My kitchen is gorgeous. I would hire him again when we need more work done. I have done many renovations and at the end of the job - I hate the contractor—not this time. I would have him for dinner!!!!"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Quincy, MA

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
