"My hot water heater needed to be replaced but I've been blowing it off because I was quoted $3000. One night it finally burst, shooting water all over the garage. I didn't know who to call or what a reasonable price for a new hot water was but I needed a water heater so I submitted a request for an estimate with Home Advisor. Matt from Platinum Plumbers responded almost immediately via text, which I prefer. He quoted me $1700 for a 50 gallon water heater installed, up to code. Honestly, he removed, installed, cleaned up after himself, ran my credit card, patiently waited while I tracked down a credit card that wouldn't be denied, handed me my invoice and was driving away in no more than 45 minutes. "Mac and Carl both worked on the pipe in my front yard. I had a leak that has been there for years. Got several quotes from several people all saying it was a huge job that would cost thousands of dollars. I called Two Brothers Plumbing for a quote after reading some rave reviews on Home Advisor. I was not disappointed. They came out the very next morning (at no charge, free quote….AMAZING!…because that is evidently not common). They examined my water line and were confident they could fix the problem easily enough. They had come in a Friday to diagnose the problem but contacted me on Sunday to set a time to come out the following day and got right to work. The existing pipe line, water spigot and valves needed updating in order to fix the leak. They fixed the issues and replaced the old parts. And they were AFFORDABLE. I cannot say enough good things about them. They were kind, thorough and professional. They were able to diagnose and explain the problem to me and fix it. They were quick to make an appointment and get the job done. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing assistance."

Problem is not in water pipes except they need testing for lead - both said they would do this too - when I asked oak re taking a sample, how long sitting in pipes? He wiped off his soda water bottle and asked “which pipes?” !!"
