"I have an old end unit rowhouse in Upper Fells Point that had a large crack in the brick extending from the 1st floor through the 2nd floor. Stinebaugh provided what I would consider to be a fair price to complete the work. The job came out looking great, and they ended up having some extra time on the contract which they used to replace a few bricks and patch at the front of the house. I plan to use Stinebaugh again in the fall to fix/replace exterior cracked brick as well as replace all four front window lintels."

My experience with Pikesville Remodeling is that I got the services of a wonderful contractor at a fair price. I have done work in my own home and have had contractors do work for me for years. I think that I am finally at the stage of my life that I can recognize quality and character - both of which were obvious in Ariel and his crew. Several outstanding things I found with Pikesville Remodeling. - Outstanding communications. Ariel communicated mostly by text messaging. I knew when he and his people would be arriving, what work they intended to complete during that day, what decisions I needed to make, suggestions for me to consider and next steps. - Excellent workmanship on all levels. The quality of all work performed was exceptional. The workers doing the work were extremely nice. The cleanup they did was beyond anything I had ever experienced from a contractor. - Adding suggestions that made a huge difference. During the job, Ariel suggested (among other things that I implemented) that I have the medicine cabinets inserted into the walls rather than attached to the walls. He also suggested that I not have a soap dish attached to the tiles but rather create an insert into the tiles for soap as well as for shampoo bottles. He showed me pictures of what it would look like. I told him to go ahead with that modification. It really did add to the looks of the project at a minimal cost increase. There is other work I need done in my home. I have already reached out to Pikesville Remodeling to get in their queue (yes, they are backlogged) so that we may begin that work in mid to late summer."

"This is the second time we've used Clarksville Construction for home repairs. Both times we worked directly with Quelvin Gonzalez who is knowledgeable, efficient, and dependable. You never have to wonder if Quelvin is going to return your phone call or respond to your email. Both projects came off without a hitch. He just takes any worry and anxiety off your shoulders from the initial call all the way through to project completion. The first time we used Clarksville Construction was the spring of this year (2021) to replace deck posts that were showing rot at ground level. It's a large deck with a heavy roof, and all five posts were replaced by a skilled crew who exceeded our expectations. Clarksville Construction just completed a second job for us. A huge piece of drywall fell off the ceiling of the garage on a 25-year-old home! Quelvin came out and noticed the builder (Patriot Homes) used nails (not screws) to "secure" the drywall to the ceiling. Quelvin orchestrated a team of two to replace the drywall that fell off and secured the rest of the ceiling drywall with screws and such. I would also like to give kudos to the team that handles phone calls. They are kind and very responsive. Don't stress. Just call Clarksville Construction."

"The project involved removing a front porch post and placing a temporary support, removing the existing concrete front porch and walkway, installing new paver front walkway and front porch, and replacing front porch post with a new post. The quality of the work was excellent. All workmen were responsive, punctual, and professional. I would definitely use F&M Contractors again and recommend F&M Contractors to others."

"The backyard on our new house is small and densely vegetated; just 5000sqft with 10 trees, twice as many bushes, and a waterfall/pond feature. Needless to say, it was out of control within 2 months of us moving in, and we needed someone to clean things up QUICK so we would at least have a shot at maintaining it ourselves. <br /> Fernando from GHCL came out for an estimate, and was able to quickly figure out what level of effort was required to clean up the property. I really liked that he understood that we had many other expenses (as new homebuyers) and that we couldn't spend all our money on this alone. <br /> After the initial estimate, the company rep (Maria) reached out quickly to recommend the $1000/20hr deal. All the terms were clearly laid out, such as work to be performed, number of people, etc so there was not much room for confusion or mixed signals. After I bought the deal, she was also quick to schedule the appointment. An extra nice part of this process was that when the company had an earlier date free up due to a last-minute cancellation, they remembered to reach out to me to offer me that spot. <br /> On the date of service, Fernando showed up with 2 other workers promptly at 7:30am, and started working within 5 minutes of arrival. And man let me tell you, I've never seen 3 people work so hard for so long. This happened to be a sunny, 90+ degree day, and with the exception of a lunch break, I didn't see them stop once! They even worked a few minutes extra because Fernando wanted to finish up everything we had discussed during the initial estimate. I can honestly say that they really went beyond my expectations with the amount and quality of their work, and Fernando's work ethic. After they were done, I saw features of my backyard that I didn't even know existed before because of the weeds! <br /> Now comes the after-story. That evening, my irrigation system on one side of my house wouldn't turn on. I found that one of the workers had accidentally cut the sprinkler control wire while pruning shrubs on that side of the house. I reached out to Maria, and over the next week she came out to look at it and the company owner agreed to give me a partial credit on the haul-away fee to compensate me for fixing the wire. I was very happy with this response since it really showed that they take responsibility for their work before, during, and after the service is completed. <br /> All in all, I would not hesitate to use GHCL again if I need more yard work done in the spring. As long as Fernando and Maria still work there! <br />"

"Drywall repairs such as popped nail and torn seams already back after a few weeks. Painting performed by the less experienced member of the team was of poor quality. Project took too long to bring to completion. Very nice and polite."
