"I asked Lee for a quote for 2 alternative solutions to install a surround sound and hang TV on the wall, with the goal of removing the components and the TV stand/media center from the leaving room. Lee came up with a much more creative idea to achieve my goal that wan't more extensive than what I asked him to do. Lee was very knowledgable and understands video, sound and system design. I like that fact that he does the design, was on site with the installers while the job was done, and came at the end to fine tune/calibrate my system himself. The result was beyond my expectation. the sound/video is incredible, and the most important thing no media center/TV stand, no components everything is nicely hidden at the top of our coat closet in an unused space. 
Why did Lee stand out from the others?
He was very knowledgeable (I did an extensive research before and all his recommendations were spot on), honest and creative. He was involved in every step of the process His prices were competitive, and he didn't try to up-sell me more expensive stuff than what I needed, or already had. Also, Lee stuck to his final quote even though the job took longer that expected.
Finally, I have to respond to a negative review that someone wrote saying that Lee quoted  $800 for a universal remote. Obviously I wasn't part of their conversation, but I find it hard to believe b/c ALL the quotes I got from Lee were in writing by email and he
quoted me around $400 for a high end remote including his time to program it to my system. It is a shame that people can write inaccurate stuff and effect someone's reputation that way.

"He showed up promptly. Getting it running again was easy--mainly a matter of plugging it in correctly. He also installed a new printer cartridge. He let me know that the old Windows XP could not be updated but that the computer could continue to be used as is. "The scheduling and price quote via phone had problems. I called to change the scheduled date over 24 hours in advance but they did not tell the installer, who then showed up one day early. "I'm afraid I have a couple of negatives, as well as positives, to report. We had an appointment scheduled for the afternoon but apparently the electrician left our area (Burlington) and didn't remember until he was back in N. Attleboro that he still had our job in Burlington. He did turn around to come back at rush hour (which was quite responsible of him), but  I wasn't informed until he was halfway back. Had I known, I would and should have rescheduled (but felt bad because of all of his travel)-it made me late for a commitment.
The electrician is knowledgeable and personable and was able to fix the wiring issue (a hall light that only worked  from one switch - he fixed it  to work from either upstairs or downstairs switches). It did, however, seem to take a long time to ascertain what the problem was.
Our other issue was a bathroom heat/vent/light unit with no heat. He established that it needed a replacement part and perhaps did check into exactly what our cost would be. But when I called JJL Electric to follow up, I spoke with the an employee on the phone and I didn't receive a call back from the electrician to get the information and schedule another service call. There were approximately another 15 minutes of our 2 hours of contracted time left. He said he regularly works in our area and because of his original schedule mistake, wouldn't charge for return travel time.
I never did hear back from him- maybe this was a miscommunication on both our parts(?). As I said, he was polite and seemed knowledgeable, but the bathroom heat is still broken.
