They were hired to replace my almost 50 year old electric panel and resolve some issues with a small secondary panel that was not working and turned out to be illegal. They repaired and replaced everything with speed, professionalism and accuracy. While here, Daniel offered to look at the work another company did in my guest bathroom and likely saved the whole house from a fire. He showed me exposed wires, non-grounded electrical switches & fixtures and code violations that even an apprentice electrician would not have left. He wrote 2 reports, complete with photos of the problems and helped me get my money back. TruTec electricians will be doing the repairs so I can use the bathroom lights and draw fan without starting a fire in the wall or attic. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT!"

"I purchased a coupon for 2 hours of work. The response to schedule the work was slow and in the end I had to call a few times before we could actually schedule a time. Based on the other reviews, I expected to see two people come over and actually work for about 1 hour. This was not the case. One electrician showed up (on time!) and did what we asked him to in exactly 2 hours. My husband and I had to help him hold lamps and pull cables (which is not necessarily what I expect when I hire a professional) but it was not too bad. I have no complaints about the quality of work. I definitely had the impression that the electrician that did the work is very experienced and knowledgeable (certainly much better than other electricians I have unfortunately hired in the past!). I most definitely cannot say that customer care is as much of a strength, though. On the contrary, my impression was clearly that this person has been doing this job for a very, very long time (which is great for his experience) and is no longer willing to do things that he does not like (although that should be part of his job). For instance, one of the lights he installed was originally wired for 4 separate pendants but in the end we decided to only install 2 (instead of 4). So I asked him to get rid of 2 boxes that were already placed in the ceiling so that I could replace the drywall. He refused to do that saying that he would have had to dig in the insulation material in the attic to find where the boxes were; he was not willing to do that and I should just go to homedepot and buy a cover. Then, when he was finished with the light install I asked him about other work that we would like to do and his answer was invariably "yes it could probably be done" but it sounded a lot like "yes it could probably be done but I am not interested in doing it". So, would I hire Daleite again? Most definitely if I need to change a switch that is easily accessible or change a fixture. For jobs that are not immediately and easily accessible you may want to hire someone else. Also if you do hire Daleite, be prepared to clean up after the work is done.

"I purchased a "half-day" coupon on Angie's List for $279 and had a list of 5 repair jobs that I figured would take about that long to complete which would make the price worthwhile.  The young repairman who came out (sorry I can't remember his name) did a great job of repairing my front door latch & loose strike plate, and repairing two loose outlets set in the wood siding of my kitchen island.  However, though he tried, he wasn't able to repair my patio umbrella, and said the ceiling fan's noise was an indication that it needed to be replaced rather than repaired.  As a result of only two items actually being repaired, I felt I'd overpaid since I didn't end up needing anyone for a "half day" after all.  That wasn't the fault of the repairman, who was very nice, but I will think twice about buying such an offer again.  It may be better to hire by the job or by the hour.
