"Mike the owner & his crew Donny etc. were great. The house we purchased didn't have a sump pump or French drain. Mike was friendly & examined what needed to be done & was very informative with his inspection. Without getting into detail there were a few obstacles in their way (none if it their fault) and they were able to still complete the job. In fact, they went above & beyond because of said issues that arose. Everyone was friendly, professional & hard working. My wife & I were a bit nervous having a job take place in our house as soon as we bought it (having 2 kids, 2 full time jobs, 2 dogs, 2 cats, selling existing house & a new mortgage is nerve rattling) but Mike & his team put our minds at ease with being prompt and finishing the job right & on time. "We have a Ranch house built in 1970. At that time, I installed two sump pumps to deal with water issues. Although the pumps and their replacements have worked over the years, there were several issues. First, the sump holes are far from being attractive. Second, the plumbing is a kludge and not up to code. And, there was no backup in case of power failure. I investigated several contractors and decided to go with Kinetic Basement Solutions. This is the best investment I have made in years. Greg and Jason are the co-owners. Greg gave an estimate to replace my two sumps and encapsulate my dirt floored crawlspace. The price was great so I signed a contract. Greg scheduled a start date. Although the start date was delayed, Greg kept me informed of updates. Once the job started he checked in frequently via phone to inform me of schedule changes and work progress. Jason also stopped by often to check progress. The staff worked hard every day and left the basement and garage clean. The crew consisted of a senior guy with two to three helpers. The finished products are outstanding. Each sump has room for two pumps. This is for future room for a backup pump. Each pump has a battery backup. The sumps drain into catch basins in my back yard. "First contacted Rick 10 months ago.  He suggested we replace the roof before this work was done and recommended several good people.  (We chose one of his recommendations and were pleased with the result.)  We then proceeded with the bay repair this summer. <br /> Scheduling was tough between our schedule, his schedule, and the miserably wet summer weather this year.  When we finally found a workable window the project was done as promised, on schedule.  The work is absolutely 1st class, using the right materials in the right way.   <br /> It was a tough, tight job site and Rick dealt with that without complaint. <br /> We plan to use Rick again for some other issues. <br /> Rick always got back to us, though sometimes it would take a day or two.  He could improve on that a bit.  His work is not cheap but it is quality, and we'd rather pay for quality than pay less for junk."
