"Called them late last summer when my 19 year old condenser quit. They quickly gave me a quote for an whole new heat pump system. They were out the very next day and installed it very quickly. Had to remove the attic ladder to get the bigger unit in, but they left zero trace that anything had been done. I called them for a concern when it was below zero in the winter. Got an immediate response. (Turned out to not be a system issue at all) I can't recommend these folks enough. Price was fair, service was awesome. He even took the time to teach me about the new smart thermostat. It was just an all around great experience. Thank you!"

"For Christmas I bought a wi-fi thermostat to be able to monitor the temperature in my home when I am away and try to save money on my electric bill. I tried to install it myself but I was lost. I called this company and they said that there was a technician in my area on another repair job and would see if he could swing by and look at it for me. It was late and I didn't expect him to come. The tech showed up and told me he needed to run extra wire to make it work. So he came back the next morning and ran the wire for me. He showed me how to program it and set it up on my phone. I would highly recommend this company as their tech was very nice and knowledgeable."

FAQs for thermostat installation and replacement projects in Republic, MO

Smart thermostats may be worth it for many homeowners. They come with various features, including voice control and smartphone apps. Vacation mode can help lower energy usage when you’re out of town for an extended period. Alert warnings let you know about major spikes or drops in temperature. Smartphone apps can track energy usage, and smart thermostats can learn your routine over time to adjust your temperature and reduce wasted energy consumption automatically.

You typically do not need more than one smart thermostat. While it’s common to see multiple mechanical thermostats throughout a large home, multiple smart thermostats may try to override each other. This can lead to problems with the HVAC system. Ensure the unit you buy has the option for dual- or multi-zoned systems to avoid compatibility issues.

Installing a programmable or smart thermostat may save you $180 per year in utility costs. A big part of this comes from a smart thermostat’s ability to learn and adapt to your regular routines. With smartphone apps or web-based interfaces, you also have the option to control your thermostat when you’re not home.
