"This was a great remodeling experience!
Our bathroom had a significant recurring mold problem due to insufficient ventilation.    The right solution to the problem was to gut the existing tile and drywall (except the floor) and install a proper ventilation fan.    We contacted Design Renovations in min august 2013 for a quote.   Rob came out and made excellent suggestions on what we could do with the space.   We hired them in early Sept. with the work planned to start in time to be finished by Thanksgiving.
We were initially concerned about their payment model because it was very different than what we have encountered in the past.   However, it worked out extremely well.    We paid them for their work at the end.   Instead of paying Design Renovations up front, or during the work, we paid the subcontractors directly.   We also either purchased items ourselves (such as the vanity and cabinets) or placed cash on their contractor account at Lowes (which they drew from to purchase supplies).    Every purchase was backed up by receipts to account for every penny spent.
In the end though, this was great, as one of the issues we have had with contractors in the past was their cash management resulting in problems with subs.   In this case, there were no worries at all.
There was only only one minor down side to the whole experience,   There was a small miscommunication at the start of the work that was equally our issue.   When they were hired they stated that they would contact us 2-3 weeks before work began to discuss final details.   We lost track of the time (our fault) and was surprised when they called 2 days before they wanted to start work.    Other than that, the whole experience was great!
The work was started the first week in November and completed in under two weeks.   The work was of high quality and professionally completed.  The result was a bathroom that is elegant and modern instead of old and moldy.
Everyone associated with the company was highly professional and friendly.    I would not hesitate to hire them again for our future remodeling needs.

"4-Ever Watertite waterproofed our home in 2012, exterior and interior.The outside east, west and north walls weredug up manuallydown to the footing. (These sides represent the main part of our house built in 1938; the south side is part ofan extension to the house built in 1965). The porch was removed (later replaced by Madison Maintenance LLC).  New draintiles were installede with 4in. draintile with sock.  Bleeder onwalls were flushed out so water would flow.Delta board installed from footing to grade. 6 mil Visqueen, trowel grade tar used.  Edges treated with eucalistic sealant and moldings, mortar joints repaired inside and out.  Fabric installed over stone, dirt and topsoil, basement window recaulked.
     Mr. Bob Gray and his crew were professional and efficient and we have been please with the result of their work.  They have also straightened basement walls for us-separate review.

"This was my first time using BNC and they were fantastic to work with. Charles gave me a fair price and answered all my questions. He worked alongside his crew on the job and the other guys helping were courteous, knowledgeable and took time to answer questions about the job as I was peeking downstairs to see how it was going. They had laid down brand new cloth runners while walking through the house, and were running a shopvac while using the jackhammer. While a mess was unavoidable, there wasn't nearly as much dust and debris as I expected. Overall, BNC did a great job and I will likely use them again for future home repairs."

"We contracted with JAM Home Services (Jeff) to repair and paint walls, ceilings and closets in the living/dining room and 3 bedrooms of our house. We also asked about installing base board where missing/damaged and also installing shoe molding in all rooms (we had just had carpeting removed and hardwood floors refinished), While his was not lowest estimate for the project, we were impressed with his knowledge, suggestions for successful completion and his professionalism. At our request, he suggested several colors that would work with the hardwood floors. We agreed on a start date, which had to be firm, to meet a specific timeline to place our house on the market. A week before start date, he checked in with us to be sure we still on schedule. As it happened, other projects were already completed, so he started a week earlier than planned and completed the project withing the 4 days he had originally estimated. We could not have been more pleased with the result! Each day, the work space was cleared and cleaned, except for drop cloths left to protect floors. He repaired a baseball-sized hole in the wall in one bedroom, repaired a crack in the plaster above a door in the living room, filled all nail holes. The paint on all ceilings, wall and closets was smooth and even - no messy corners or bleeding edges. The new base boards and and shoe molding were such great enhancements to the rooms. We highly recommend JAM Home Services for anyone with home repair or improvement project needs!"

"This has been one of the greatest experiences I’ve had with getting work done around the house. Firstly Mrs.Rytel is such a nice and caring woman, she made sure she kept in close contact with me and made me feel very comfortable while she walked me through allot of different options pertaining to anything I needed help with around the house and etc..My front door was broken and they made sure to get to me asap knowing my urgent situation and at no cost so I will forever be greatful!!! Fixing the front door wasn’t their only concern they wanted to make sure to check out the rest of the house to see if anything else was in need of repair, it was a leak under my kitchen sink and Mr.Rytel saw the problem and fixed it within minutes. I thought my door was broken beyond repair and would need to be replaced but Mr.Rytel quickly showed me different and worked his magic lol! I will most definitely be using their services again and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of any help. Thank you again Mr and Mrs.Rytel !!!"

"The estimate started as 360 for 4 hours and then the email said there was a 7 hour labor in total. They included the ladder and paintbrush in the materials. I don't know why I would have to buy a new ladder for them or a bucket. The paint brush I could understand but I don't think I should have to buy it from them. There were too many ridiculous fees on top for the small job."

"Len was very professional and was great to work with. He was easy to get ahold of, setting up an appt the next day. He came by right on time and quickly got to work. He and his partner installed an attic fan and repaired a roof leak. The work looks great. He was open about all the details of the project, including being honest about preferring a specialty plaster repair guy to repair some damaged plaster I requested be fixed. I recommended Len and would definitely use him in the future.

"Overall, I would grade them a B+.  The owner is very responsive when you communicate with her on Angie's list, never had to wait more than one day for a reply.  I purchased the service on Angie's List on April 6th.  The first date they had available was 5/9 for the powerwash and 5/10 for the deck stain. Other companies, I contacted were booked for the summer, or earliest service was June.   They came on 5/9 and everything was done great, unfortunately it rained the next day so they could not do the stain until 5/25 or 5/26.  5/25 showed a high chance of rain, so they agreed to move up the date to 5/22.  I really appreciated them doing that, and it demonstarted to me they wanted to finish my deck in a timely manner.  They finished the deck on 5/26, the deck looked great and, I paid an additional $300 to have my stairs, support beams, and some nails hammered in.  In addition, Logan sanded the grill marks off the deck and brought our attention to some carpenter bees that were living in my deck.  All n all, I would definitely have them come back and stain my deck in a few years.

They were very professional, covered my flowers and landscaping before doing the job, went through the yard after with a magnet to do all the cleaning up of the left over parts and nails. They were very careful with the job overall and did an amazing job."
