"I was contacted right away in response to my request for a free inspection of my chimney, and they were at my home within a day or two of the call.  They contacted me the day following the inspection to discuss my concerns and they explained their evaluation.  We determined there may be a crack in the base of the chimney and they provided me with a verbal quote to make repairs which was based on a range of minimum to maximum cost.   They also detailed the work that would take place, the amount of time needed and their warranties. We agreed to go ahead with the work and Kevin would call the next day (Saturday) to schedule a date.  Kevin did not call until Sunday, however ~ he first apologized for not calling the day before, but they had worked late on a job and he did not want to call me late in the evening.  We scheduled the work for the following Friday.  On Thursday,  Kevin called requesting a change in schedule due to weather affecting the completion of a current job, but also explained that if I could not accommodate his request he would have a crew at my house on the original date.  We rescheduled the work for the following week.   The guys showed up on the re-scheduled date, on time and ready to work.  They were very polite, professional and completed the work exactly as it was explained to me, showing me along the way.  Kevin checked on his guys several times throughout the day and kept me up to date on their progress.  After all was said & done, they did find a crack in the base of the chimney, made all the necessary repairs and left my landscape area as undisturbed as possible.  They cleaned up after themselves, and my yard should settle back quite nice.  They were very respectful of my property, home and the convenience of the adjacent neighbor.  I appreciated the call from Kevin and his reasons for wanting to reschedule our original date ~ customer service and satisfaction.  There are some things we cannot control and the weather is certainly on of them, and it had been raining almost everyday prior to our original appointment. I would definitely use A Cheaper Chimney Sweep again, and recommend them to anyone.
