"Sunnydale Electric did a great job, they came in installed the required breakers, cable and outlets. Very clean install. They also installed the EV Charger for me, mounting it to the wall and connecting the charging cable. I was able to register it with ChargePoint worked perfectly. I would hire them again"

"Communications and scheduling were awful. Took forever and 7 calls to actually get them to send the quote. When I call they say Jorge will call back, he doesn't. Call him, and his voicemailbox is always full. Three times the roofers were scheduled to come and they never showed up, never called. Really regret using them. When the roofer finally showed up, he was a sub contractor that didn't really know what he was supposed to do. Felt bad for him, he had to bring his little boy who just wandered around my back yard while he worked on my roof. The actual work seems fine, it's the whole process of working with them that is awful. Can't figure out who they actually are, Findlay Roofing, Roof Roof, Mighty Dog Roofing? That was probably my first warning flag."

"We have had KingsCraft do two projects for us in the last two years, built-ins for our den and a pantry gut and remodel. Both turned out wonderfully and have dramatically increased our enjoyment of the spaces. KingsCraft was super helpful with design, materials selection and aesthetics. The work was high quality and expertly installed. KingsCraft provided a thorough overview and discussion of the work including sending drawings with our markups in the design phase interactions. I’ve worked with a lot craftspeople and KingsCraft is one of the best at what they do. I am having a desk built next."

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Rocky Mount, NC

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
