"Expro Renovators did a professional job at a reasonable price. When other contractors passed on my attic renovation Raul and company came through with professionalism and courtesy. I would definitely hire them again."

"Terry Jenkins and his crew (Ron & Dru) were professional, knowledgeable, organized, and were great at communicating what they were doing and answering/addressing any questions or concerns I had along the way. When an unexpected issue appeared (floor rotted beyond the doors they were replacing), they were more than willing and capable of repairing that too...all in the total time they estimated. Couldn’t be more pleased."

"I contacted Premier HomePro regarding the installation of a basement egress window, which is a project that will take about 20 days. Alan Stevens promptly called me. He was unbelievably cordial and helpful. He explained that for personal reasons he is not taking new business for the foreseeable future. Nevertheless, he inquired about my project and spent considerable time on the phone giving advice and suggestions on contacting another company that may be able to help me. I have owned properties for decades. My biggest gripe dealing with contractors is that they do not return calls. Even when they come to my property and state they will submit a proposal, frequently do not, AND they do not have the courtesy to call and explain they decided to pass on the job. Many times, even when I phone repeatedly, they still do not reply. This is why I found Mr. Stevens of Premier HomePro to be exceptional. Although he could not take my project, his responsibleness, cordiality and concern for me (who he does not know) is extraordinary. I judge contractors on how they treat me upfront -- before I engage them. Are they responsive and do they do what they tell you they will? Based on my initial experience with Premier HomePro, I very highly recommend this company. Sincerely, William Marquardt"

FAQs for major home repair (general contractor) projects in Rocky Ridge, MD

In many cases, it’s much less expensive to convert a bus than to buy an RV, especially if you’re considering a newer RV model, which can exceed $100,000.

Another huge benefit of school bus conversion is that you are in control of the renovation project. You get to pick your camper's new layout and all the appliances and furniture.

While school buses can easily cost $300,000 when they're new, you can often find used buses for just a few thousand dollars. These vehicles experience extreme depreciation due to government regulations; they can only be used for so long before they must be replaced. Due to those same regulations, other government agencies cannot purchase them for their own uses, so the consumer market is the only place they can go.

The length of time it takes to convert a bus depends on the scope of the project (and size of the bus), how much work is DIY vs. done by a professional contractor, and how much work you’re doing up front.

In general, expect at least a couple of months for a conversion, but larger conversions could take six months to a year. Remember: You can tackle projects as you go: Get the basic work done so that it’s livable, and then continue to enhance your living space over time.
