"I sent a message through Angies List and they responded almost immediately. I was called and given a 30 minute window of their arrival, plus the technician's name. Then the technician called me when he was on his way. He talked to me then went to work and immediately diagnosed the issue (chipmunk chewed the wiring argh!). He gave me a quote which I felt was quite reasonable and the repair only took about 45 minutes. After that, we spoke further about the Hvac (it's pretty old), he said it seems to be running well but obviously has some age to it. He advised I don't need it replaced but may want to consider some ongoing maintenance. He was nice and professional and answered all of my dumb questions. "They are a busy company and I can understand why. It seemed like things were slow but a lot was going on behind what I could visualize. The permits and the Net metering agreement had to be approved first. After that the work began very fast. The waiting on Duke energy was a couple weeks after everything was installed but the results were extremely good. I now have a system that cools the house properly. My power bills went from $320 a month to $9.18 and even with the solar payment I am saving hundreds of dollars a month. The crews were very professional and did not take any short cuts. In this world everyone wants immediate installation and results but somethings take a little time to achieve the results expected. The company kept me up to date with the progress and the channels they had to go through to complete the process. They are very customer oriented and I would recommend them to anyone who was to save money. You have to have long term goals. Mine are going to be achieved with the help of U S Energy solutions. "I had a major remodeling project and got help from their sales manager / designer who was the best! Too bad he left the company. The building manager who coordinated my deck build left the company after just a week. The electrician is wonderful & so is their primary tile subcontractor, but everyone else you need to watch closely. Surface Bella is very expensive and I doubt I got my money's worth, but at least they didn't run out on the job. They also tend to cut corners."
