Small jobs welcome

My wife and I with the help of a few friends designed and built our log home. We have since, remodeled a house built in 1895 back to original as much as possible. We also pastor a church in our town. We are all about the restoration process. I love taken a space and creating something new, fresh, and with purpose and life. To take a space and make it useable once again. We love working with clients that want to see transformation. The clients vision and input is so important and we will implement every possible detail they desire.

"They did a good job. She had to submit like a photo but my daughter had them work on the central are of the loft. The deal was for one room. She got a lot of good ideal from her and it was worth it for her. They were professional and I did not hear anything negative."

*OWENS CORNING PLATINUM CONTRACTOR* COMMERCIAL & RESIDENTIAL SERVICES There are many reasons why DWC ROOFING COMPANY is the choice for many home-owners in Indiana. However, if we could summarize all of those reasons into three simple words they would be: quality, service and professionalism. We provide our customers with one of the industry’s highest quality products, we follow up the project with quality service, and we conduct our business with standards of the professional conduct. Let’s look at each concept in more details: Quality: Everything we do projects quality. Our products, our people, our service, our installations, and our warranties. "I found Maximus on the list and read several of the reviews.  I had not heard of the company before, but liked what I read.  As insurance was covering the vast majority of the repairs, my job was to shop for the people to do the work. Boy, was I glad I called Eric!  Right from the first phone call, Eric answered personally---no voice mail or answering service, though during the course of the work we did occaisionally play phone tag (no problem---to be expected).  I spoke to him late on a Thursday afternoon, and his first question to me was if the insurance people had been out yet.  I said that they were set to inspect the roof at noon the following Monday (1& 1/2 business days away).  He said he wanted to be there when they walked the roof to make sure they didn't miss anything since he had worked on the other side in the insurance end of things for 20 yrs( I think) and knew what to look for.  As it happened, he got to the house and had done his own inspection before the insurance company's inspector even arrived!  I was so impressed!  He knew exactly what needed to be done and, yes, he DID point out several things that the insurance people had missed!  Furthermore, once he had the specifics he needed, he already had several books of shingle samples in his truck for me to look at for the new roof.  Wow! And to think I had only called him less than 2 business days ago FOR AN ESTIMATE! I had called several other places earlier in the week and had appts for estimates coming up in the next 2 weeks. Here, Eric was ready to schedule the work before I would even be getting my next estimate! It was very clear that he wanted my business and he made me feel like a priority without being pushy.  I still went through with the other scheduled estimates, but Eric got the job!
Unfortunately, I was not able to be at home to actually witness the work being done.  Eric said everything would be done in 1 day and he was right! (about 6hrs actually)  He kept me abreast of the work by sending me pictures of the work in progress and the final product. I appreciated that! He also personally hauled away all the trash and clean-up was terrific! (he said he didn't like using dumpsters as they were an eyesore, they generally didn't get picked back up promptly and they usually left marks on the driveway. Wow! Again I was impressed!)  The roof looked great when I got to see it in person!  Furthermore, Eric was also able to help me out on half my insurance deductible!  If I were to move and find the next house needed a new roof I would call Eric in a heartbeat!!

"The first time it was $21,000, then we had them do some additional...they gave us an estimate, I think of around $6000 and honestly we haven't paid them because they haven't finished. They seemed very professional. I thought they would do an excellent job. They could match our color scheme. This is in a company that is warranted, life time paint, never have to paint again and if we do, we'll come out time and time again to do it. So the idea was great and we had been having to paint the brand new home every year. We were tired of that and they seemed like they could do a great job and the product seemed very good. We had them paint it the first time and we had room additions added and they painted that. It seemed very good and very professional. They painted some things that they shouldn't have like the windows, so it is hard to close them. Overall they did a decent job but then the last time they came out to do some repair work, they actually did some construction in addition to the painting and then they didn't match the paint colors correctly. They didn't finish the repair work, where they thought they might have finished it, it wasn't as it was before architecturally, aesthetically pleasing anymore. I had a punch out list and I said, this is all the punch out list that needs to be addressed. They said something about, okay they'll take care of it but they never scheduled a time or place to review the punch out list or to schedule to get them fixed. We have been calling and they've not been returning our calls. We thought they were out of business actually. Then last year all of our windows sills rotted and again, with the paint that wouldn't have happened. We replaced all of our windows. The window company actually reached out to Hoosier Permanent Coatings  and they are still in business as you probably found them in your system. They said well because we didn't pay them that last amount our, warranty is null and void. So we've been trying to call them, we leave messages and they don't call us back. If we talked to them maybe this thing can be settled."

FAQs for major renovation multiple room service projects in Rome, IN

Gutting a house involves completely removing outdated elements, including drywall, insulation, and fixtures, to reveal the underlying structure. This process is not only ideal for a complete remodel but is also critical in emergency situations such as flood damage where compromised materials must be replaced immediately. Contractors follow OSHA-approved safety measures throughout the demolition to ensure a secure work environment. This method provides a fresh, safe canvas for any future renovation.

Gutting a house is a cost-efficient choice. Home renovations cost between $20,000 and $88,000 compared to the cost to build a new house of $122,500 to $411,500. The reduced cost stems from retaining the existing structural framework while updating the interior. Factors such as house size, material quality, and labor directly influence the total expenses, making a gut renovation a financially smart decision.

The cost of demoing an interior is worthwhile because gutting a house creates a completely safe and refreshed environment by removing toxic or damaged materials like asbestos, mold, and deteriorated components. Professional supervision ensures all hazards are properly managed and health and safety standards are met. This process revitalizes the home's interior and can increase its structural integrity and overall value.

Remodeling a bathroom costs between $6,640 and $17,600, with high-end remodels exceeding $30,000. The final price is directly influenced by the quality of fixtures and design features—modern tiling, advanced plumbing, and custom details all add to the definitive expense. By selecting superior materials and design elements, homeowners ensure both functionality and a remarkable aesthetic upgrade.

Kitchen renovations range from $14,500 to $41,500 when the original layout is maintained. However, changing the layout by removing load-bearing walls or upgrading to premium appliances directly escalates costs, often adding over $1,000 per modification. These precise enhancements reflect the high-quality standards and result in a transformative and efficient upgrade.

A full gut renovation typically spans between four months and a year and a half. This period accounts for the permitting process, material procurement, and the overall scale of the project. Every phase—from demolition through rebuilding—involves careful planning and execution to meet deadlines while ensuring the work adheres to safety and quality standards.
