"I cannot recommend DC the GC enough. Dominick, and his crew, Keith and Anthony did an outstanding job. If your considering who to go with for your flooring install, you can stop reviewing, you found your Shangri-la. They were knowledgeable, efficient, prompt, professional and neat. And they went over and beyond with tasks that were not in there job description, they offered help. Even lifting a very heavy fridge to install sliders, so I do not ruin our new vinyl floors. They installed our stairs, living room/dining room hall and kitchen. We couldn't be happier, thank you."

"Blue Line Construction built my shed over the summer and it's beautiful. As soon as I spoke to Adam, the owner, about building this shed, he made the time to come over within a day to quote me. Once we confirmed, he started on the job right away. The crew cleaned up everything and brought all trash to the curb. Nothing left for me to clean up. He also had some of his guys fix a section of my retaining wall for me during this job. After this was finished I had him come back and paint my house. He also does all the electrical himself and reran my sprinkler system wiring that was effected by moving my shed location. I have and will continue to use Adam at Blue Line for any future home projects."

HomeAdvisor makes it easy to connect with pros near you. You can read reviews, get quotes and book appointments all in one place.
Depending on the type of project, you may find subtle differences in the hiring process. Here’s a look at task-specific advice.
You can use HomeAdvisor to help evaluate a contractor’s qualifications. We put pros through a screening process, and award badges to high-performing contractors. You can find these badges on a pro’s HomeAdvisor profile, and sometimes, his or her website.
Your research doesn’t stop here. Once you’ve found a few prospective companies, make an call to ask a few questions about work history, licensure and more:
In most cases, the responses you get to these three questions will give you a very good idea of the right pro for your project. If you have more than one front-runner, these additional questions can help you narrow it down.
Any good contractor will answer these questions, and most will appreciate dealing with a client that takes such an active interest in finding good service. On the other hand, if a contractor gives you a hard time with these questions, you probably want to find someone else.
