"After three years of living in our remodeled home, my sister <br /> and I began experiencing water seepage in three different locations in our <br /> finished basement. After considering the cost, Brian?s expertise, <br /> professionalism, and the hassle-free solution he offered, we decided to give <br /> him the job. <br />   <br /> Brian?s crew was scheduled to come <br /> out the following Saturday, but he called the night before to say that the crew <br /> could not come due to one worker having a family emergency. I informed Brian <br /> that I was displeased with the last-minute notice. In an effort to apologize <br /> for the inconvenience, he stated that he would have his crew come out the <br /> following week. He also said that he would have them repair the drywall at no <br /> additional cost to us. We thought this was a wonderful deal and demonstrative <br /> of Brian?s willingness to go beyond the call of duty to satisfy his customers. <br />   <br /> One week later, two workers <br /> promptly arrived as scheduled. They went over the work to be done and asked us <br /> if we had any questions.  We answered no, <br /> and they began working. The workers were courteous and professional as well. Before <br /> they finished, Brian showed up to inspect the work and make sure we were <br /> pleased with everything.  We expressed <br /> our satisfaction, and the men finished up. They cleaned up after themselves as <br /> well.  As promised, the workers returned <br /> a few days later to repair the drywall. They replaced and sanded it at no cost <br /> to us. <br />   <br /> We really appreciated the care Brian <br /> and his workers took in addressing our seepage issues and making sure that we <br /> were pleased with their work. We waited to write a review until we had some <br /> rain. We haven?t had any more problems thus far. Only time and heavier <br /> rainstorms will let us know if we are in the clear. However, Brian told us to call <br /> if we have any more problems. He stands by his work and we have no doubt that <br /> he will work hard to resolve any future issues should they arise. "I hired the company to do a make ready [clean up & prep] on a single apartment in a building which I own in the  town where I live. I needed the property to be cleaned up so I could rent it again.  I have been a landlord for over 20 years & hadn't found a vacated property in such a mess in all my years. They did the complete interior clean-up which took about five hours. And, the complete prep of the property. they took out all the trash & junk, and cleaned up all debris left in the yard. They did such a great job with that I decided to use them for the yard maintenance also. They cleaned all my flowerbeds & got them ready for spring, placed mulch & trimmed the shrubs and flowering trees. On the inside they made everything look brand new! Cleaning the walls, painting, cleaned the carpets & stripped & polished the wood floors...making them look brand new. The appliances that stayed were cleaned inside & out. They even remembered to get all the light fixtures clean for me. Dusted all window seals & doorways. Shine mopped all they tile floors. To top it all off they even gave the bathrooms a fresh clean look by putting a new caulk seal around the tubs, sinks & shower...which gave the bathrooms a fresh face. All in all I found it to be a very stress free pleasant experience. And, I will definitely call on them for the next project because if they could do so well with a nightmare like that I'm sure the less difficult will be equally affordable and easily handled. "Well, the first time the replacement was ordered it was the wrong one, which of course, delayed the installation a week. When it was finally installed I had to pay an additional $850 for code upgrades. This I was not informed of by Home Shield. Then we noticed that there was water on the garage floor and found that the pipe coming in from the wall was leaking at the wall so had to call the plumbing company back out to fix it. They first tried to say it was not their fault but since there wasn't a leak before they installed they did fix it. I have used Home Shield a few times before and never had a problem. Some of the companies they use are not the best so you have to research them before you commit. I have found HS service to be good if you do your homework. At the end of the day I was without hot water for almost 3 weeks but it was do to the plumbing company they sent out."
