"We met with Morning Star and picked the windows we wanted. Very satisfied with the warranty and they also told us about the rebates we would be getting. That was a plus. We picked a date while it was still cold out and they agreed with us that when the first break in descent weather came, they would come out and install the windows. At first I was apprehensive to believe that would happen. But sure enough they called me to schedule the installation. After installation we discovered we need another window replace that was bad. They are coming back just to install one window. Only one thing that is not included in the cost, is the trim, so there was a little extra charge. I found out all the window companies do that.

"It went great! I called on a Monday around noon, and Paul came out that evening to give me a quote on 2 replacement garage doors and 2 new, quieter openers. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell me, while still making me aware of the best options available. The price he quoted was by far the most reasonable estimate I received. We scheduled an appointment for Friday morning, and Joe showed up on time this morning and finished the job within 4 hours. He had everything set up for us and showed us how to program the openers, and even helped me reset the opener in my car. Highly recommend this company!"

"After a great experience with Wood Rot Solutions last Winter when I had 6 windows rebuilt and re-framed, I did not hesitate to call JD with another wood rot job.
They arrived on time, and worked efficiently.
They removed the old rotten wood, built a new vent assembly on my front walk, and carefully lifted it into place, 28' off the ground.
While up there, they noticed some of my new, 2nd story windows (Installed by another company) had NO caulk on the top edges of their frames, and when they were finished installing the new vent, they caulked the windows as well.
JD is a detail oriented, hard worker who does his best to make sure that the job is done right, and done once, as his motto says.

He explained the differences between the three different steel garage door types, the insulation values and structural integrity of each. "Joe (the owner) came out for an estimate and was very informative with his presentation.  He brought examples and walked us through the whole process.  Our house is a 1970's ranch and we had old windows and an old sliding glass door that really needed to be updated. Before we decided on the type of siding we wanted, he gave us some examples of the houses he had done and we were very impressed.  We really liked the fact he did not try to sell us on unneeded upgrades and was very upfront on his bid to us.  We did not feel like he was trying to just over price his products.  On the first day, Joe and his crew came out  when it was raining and believe it or not in one day they had all 15 windows and the sliding glass door installed.  I must say the windows are very nice and the triple pane sliding glass door is awesome.  The siding that was installed was done with very little seams that are hardly visible.  We have a 2500 square foot home and we counted 8 seams on the house.  It looks great and they even did the chimney box on the roof.  Joe and his crew were very respectful and attentive to every detail.  They always ensured that every detail was how we wanted.  They cleaned up the area very well after the job was done. I would highly recommend this company to anyone."

"He was professional and he wasn't here for too long. He charged me $75 to fix the door frame, and it actually made it more difficult to lock the door! I wound up having to replace the door and door frame entirely after his modification. Super nice guy though, and I am sure he knows how to take care of other items, doors were just not his specialty.
I marked that I would not use him again because I am fairly handy except when it comes to doors, so I would have no need to call him.
