"I had contacted Craig for a quote but chose to go with someone a friend recommended who had a lower estimate. That was a huge mistake. Without getting into the ugly details, the other contractor left me stranded with a demolished bathroom. I called Craig praying that he would rescue us even though I had turned down his bid. He could not have been any nicer! He not only agreed to do the job (and clean up the mess left by the other guy) but went above and beyond to get it done quickly. Chris and his team were professional, arrived when they said they would, kept us informed and involved and were really fun guys. The tile I had chosen had a wide variety of colors and patterns (marble) and Chris took the time to make sure he balanced everything out which sometimes meant he was working out of 8-10 boxes of tile at a time! Our bathroom is now a show-piece and we love it. We had such a great experience with Artistic Construction that we are re-doing our master bath next! DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! Even if you think you can get a better price, you will not get a better contractor!"

"Bob came out and talked to me about what needed to happen. Didn't try to sell me on anything I didn't need and even gave some advice on how the sump pump should be adjusted. Bill and PJ came out to do the actual work. Nice guys and wasted no time getting started. Laid down sheets to protect the hardwood floor in the foyer as they came in and out. Bill went above and beyond fixing the rod holes and the sealed cracks look like they'll hold forever. The outside sump discharge line looks great and I now have a clean-out for any future maintenance. Not much in the way of rain lately so won't know if everything sealed until then, but 4-Ever gives a lifetime guarantee so I'm not too worried. What I did learn with this project is that I have an entire wall of rod holes that aren't leaking bad yet, but do show sign of water leakage and will need to be fixed. Once I get the energy, I will tear out all the drywall and not hesitate to call Bob again to have his guys come out and do the rest of the rod holes."

"The company did not call me in the time frame specified when the coupon was purchased.  They did call me the following week.  The fellow came out and attempted to fix the downspout which was leaking from the top connector at the roof level.  He patched it and said if it didn't work he would come back to fix it. He said that it probably needed to be replaced.  I asked him what that might cost and he gave me a price.  After he left we had a heavy rain and the spout was leaking worse, sending water against the house and upstairs window.  I called the company and they said they would give the fellow a message.  I never got a return call so I am not sure if they gave him the message. I found the repairman's cell number in my phone and called him directly.  He came over immediately and replaced the spout.  He found it also had a clog in the bend.  He couldn't remember the price he quoted me and didn't seem like he was happy with the price I said he had told me, but he accepted it.   
When the project was finished it was fine.  However, I did pay for the coupon and the gutter was not properly repaired.  Then I paid an additional cost when he replaced the gutter and that was charged beyond the coupon deal.

"Arrived on time.  Agreed ahead of time to bring materials and I would reimburse cost.  Reviewed the areas for repair.  Repaired two small areas of sheetrock ceiling, taped it, mudded it, sprayed with popcorn surface.  Taped sheetrock joints on patio ceiling. Worked fairly efficiently.  I purchased two hours of labor. He made no comment that it might take longer than two hours.  At the two hour point he wasn't finished.  At the two hour point I said the two hours is up, now what do we do?  He said it might take an additional hour.  I agreed and he said the rate would be $50 per hour. He finished at 3 hours and 20 minutes.  The original package was $99.  I paid an additional $128 for the additional time and materials.  Several times he pointed out things that needed additional work.  Not a bad technique to drive up the bill, but I turned down his suggestions.  Did use a drop cloth when he sprayed the popcorn, but all the other work did not use a dropcloth and  left residue on the floor.  Left us a couple hours of work to clean up the mess, but I wasn't going to pay for additional time to clean up the mess.
