"Work was done quickly and well. However, they found another problem with the windshield. I did not have them do the work because there was a possibility that it was a warranty issue. When the dealer looked at the "crack" it turned out to be excess glue."

"Our laundry sink is a deep tub with little space left for the faucet in the rear. I expected that the plumber would need to remove the tub in order to replace the faucet. However, he did all his work from the underside and needed to cut the copper tubing to the old faucet to accomplish. He didn’t ask nor did I specify that I wanted to reuse the old faucet. But he defeated that purpose when he cut the tubing to close to faucet body. Subsequently, when we checked the installation, we pointed out that he hadn’t tightened down enough allowing the faucet to be moved around on the tub. Additionally, the pull-down hose couldn’t be pulled down at all. He fixed these items before he left. But afterwards, I discovered that the hose could only be pulled down part of it overall length. Admittedly, this was a tough job especially in the manner that he chose to accomplish. But I felt it could have gone better."

"M&M staff came to my home, measured, gave me a fabulous suggestion for the framed mirror, and then called me within one day to give me their estimate. I had priced this job with two other companies and decided that M&M was the best choice. They came about less than a week later to install the mirrors. The installation team was professional, came when they said they would, installed and even cleaned both mirrors in a very timely manner! I would definitely choose them again if the need should arise!"

"Someone came out to measure my window and they said they would get back with me. I was told that my window would be a special order so it would take about 2 days to come in. I told them that is fine, to go ahead and order it. I was very confused when I got a TEXT the very next morning saying they would be at my house that day. I told them I would not be home, so they rescheduled for the next week. I thought it odd that the window came in that fast, but I figured maybe they realized they had one in stock. <br /> The next week when they come to install the window, the installers take one look at the window and say and quot;this is a special order windowand quot;. To which I say, and quot;yes, I know, they said they were ordering a window, do you have it?and quot; Somewhere the communication got mixed up and the window was never ordered. At that point, I was so frustrated I told them to leave and that I would find someone else to fix the window. <br /> Also, the person who answers the phone, Crystal, seems annoyed whenever you call. She uses text to communicate and I find that unprofessional. <br />"

"I contacted Custom Accents and requested they make a piece of custom glass to place on top of a wood dining room table. The employees at Custom Accents were easily accessible. They consistently returned my calls and provided me with updates as to the status of my order. They were also prompt for both appointments at my home. My only complaint is that my order took longer than initially quoted but it was through no fault of Custom Accents. The company manufacturing the glass took longer than anticipated partially due to Hurricane Isaac. Custom Accents informed me of the delay, explained the situation and apologized. Overall, I had an excellent experience with them, the estimates they provided me prior to the work being performed were in line with the final price and the quotes provided by other companies and the final product was flawless. <br />"

"Everything went well, installers were on time, worked well, explained everything when finished. We had several heavy rainstorms a couple of days after our install and windows worked great. Plus installers did a nice job cleaning up and even dusting after they were finished with the install."

FAQs for new windows service projects in Rougon, LA

Yes, bay windows add value to a home. They enhance the property by expanding the interior space and flooding rooms with natural light. Their unique three-panel design creates a stunning focal point that elevates curb appeal and modernizes living areas. This architectural detail increases both functional space and visual appeal, directly contributing to higher home resale value.

Yes, all window types have the potential to become part of a bay window configuration when modified correctly. The transformation involves reconfiguring standard windows into a multi-panel design that features a larger central window flanked by smaller ones. This process requires precise professional planning and custom framing to ensure durability, visual balance, and structural integrity.

Bay windows typically consist of three glass panels extending beyond the home's exterior walls, with a larger center panel flanked by two smaller ones. In contrast, bow windows are composed of four to six equally sized glass panels that create a gentle curve and do not extend as far from the exterior walls.

Bay windows cost more than standard windows because their expansive, multi-panel design requires additional materials and skilled labor. Their construction involves extra glass, specialized frame components that extend outward, and complex operating mechanisms. These technical demands necessitate precise engineering and multiple expert installations, thereby significantly increasing both material and labor expenses.

Bay windows cost three times more than standard double-hung windows because their design requires extra panels, expanded framing, and a more complex installation process. The advanced construction method increases material consumption and demands comprehensive expertise, while specialized window treatments further elevate expenses. This all results in a significant difference in overall project cost.
