Inside the attic, they put traps out in common spots. The plan was to check it after a few days, then after a few weeks. A couple of weeks in at dinner, we heard a trap go off, but found no evidence. I called them to notify them we found a faint odor Saturday morning. It was cold outside, but they wanted to remove the carcass as soon as possible, so they drove out that day.
