During that year, we had multiple conversations with him regarding the scope of our project, and he was as willing to contract the scope as to expand it. "I love Andersen windows. The issues are the cost of their replacement-specific line versus a conventional Andersen window (about 3 X as much), and the quality of the installation. The replacement installation retains the old window trim mouldings, and the exterior trim is just covered over with a sheet metal trim that is nailed in place. Little did I know how easily water can get behind the trim and rot the underlying wood, which it did. I had to pay another firm to rip out the window trim and replace it with PVC, which is how it should have been done in the first place. With that lesson in hand, I bought conventional Andersen windows from the local distributor, hired the firm that fixed the Renewal By Andersen installation job, and had them installed properly for less than half the cost. Same Andersen windows, same quality and materials (the salesman will tell you otherwise, but it is BS; do your research and you will come to the same conclusion), for far less money."

"Communications and scheduling were awful. Took forever and 7 calls to actually get them to send the quote. When I call they say Jorge will call back, he doesn't. Call him, and his voicemailbox is always full. Three times the roofers were scheduled to come and they never showed up, never called. Really regret using them. When the roofer finally showed up, he was a sub contractor that didn't really know what he was supposed to do. Felt bad for him, he had to bring his little boy who just wandered around my back yard while he worked on my roof. The actual work seems fine, it's the whole process of working with them that is awful. Can't figure out who they actually are, Findlay Roofing, Roof Roof, Mighty Dog Roofing? That was probably my first warning flag."
