"Excellent work! At least 1/3 of my roof on the north side had a great deal of moss on it. On much of the rest of the roof there were small amounts of moss along the bottom edge of shingles, and there were patches in scattered places on the main part of the shingles. After Hector and his son cleaned the roof, it looked brand new. They removed plants and furniture from our deck before the job and replaced them after the job. They even did a light washing of the vinyl siding of the house, which was outside the agreed-upon scope of work, but they did not charge me for it. As a former member of a site safety office in a then-Fortune 50 company, I was particularly impressed with the excellent precautions they took to insure their safety on the roof during the job. Hector’s 27+ years of experience was evident in every aspect of the job. I plan to bring him back in a year for annual maintenance. "I am a senior with a background in construction.  After reviewing many contractors and speaking with some of them, I immediately knew I hit the jackpot when I spoke to Danny.
 
1.  He knew exactly what I needed and wanted done when I first spoke to him.  This entailed the replacement, repair, and installation of the items listed above with attention to quality in materials, prevention of future problems, a fair price, and a commitment to starting and showing up once the job was initiated.  Danny exceeded every expectation in these regards!
2.  I silently knew in advance manufacturers, quality and cost of exterior doors (including the french door), storm doors, door locks and deadbolts, leak-proof door sills for 6 inch exterior walls and a leak-proof barrier on the bottom of the door frames.  Without knowing of my preferences, Danny suggested the identical manufacturers and materials I had in mind.  At this juncture, we met and I hired Danny to perform the work.
3.  I am beyond pleased with the outcome of Danny's effort on this project.  As an example of his integrity, he asked me to trust him in the design and installation of an exterior octagonal window in a bathroom.  My wife and I were literally blown away with a handcrafted symmetrical waterproof tunnel and inside wall frame he created - more akin to an artistic piece than a window.
4. Inside work was always minimally invasive using tarps and soft shoes rather than work boots.  Outside and inside cleanup at the end of each work day was respectfully performed leaving no mess.
I would recommend Danny to anyone requiring any kind of interior or exterior installation, modification, or repair as I have seen firsthand examples of his experience, skills, and personal and business ethics.  In fact, Danny is presently working on costs to replace our roof."

"Jorge, Jorge Jr. and their crew are a VERY professional outfit. After taking several estimates from the top-rated Angie's listed contractors in my area, I decided to go with George's Painting based not only on price(his estimate was about the median of all) but based on the very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable Jorge. He came onsite to do the estimate, and made me feel very confident in his crew's ability to do the job.
He impressed me with his knowledge of the process of cleaning and staining fences and decks.  Every question I had for him, he patiently answered. His group also did some minor carpentry work--replacing damaged fence boards and 4x4 deck posts-- Both performed to perfection. Jorge also stood out by mentioning that he preferred to use premium products so the job would last.
His crew was onsite promptly when promised (8:30 meant 8:30, not sometime around 10) Each crew member was courteous and professional. They worked quickly and did an excellent job.
Any time I had to contact Jorge (as we were working on the final scope of work, etc..) he responded in a VERY timely manner.
The end product is the BEST looking back yard in my town-home area.

"About average.  This was a part of a Handyman "Big Deal" and was clearly a marketing tools to drum up new business for Creative Hands. I did not have major projects to add on. I felt forgotten.  To date, Creative Hands still owes me a few hours of work but its been so long, I've forgotten the details.  The workers even forgot a power tool which I tried to coordinate the return but they weren't interested.  They were just too busy for me.  I will say the work that was done was done well.   I would not use this company for small jobs....they are clearly organized for major renovations.
