"I have lived in my home for over 23 years and have used several different Heating and Air companies thru the years... I needed service in Sept 2018 and had various coupon prices of $39 and $49 for an A/C tune up and was about to chose on of them but decided to check Angie's list for a review or google for the coupon companies. That is when I found American Family HVAC and started to read their reviews.. For some reason, I decided to use this company even tho the cost was a bit more money and boy am I ever happy that I went with my hunch. Sometimes it is NOT always about the money. I was really looking for an A/C furnace company that I could count on and use regularly. Not only was the repair gentleman that came out, on time and very thorough and professional but he spent a long time and I feel that I received the most thorough tune up that I have ever had. Josh, the service tech was just a delight and the best part was that this company has a membership contract that I was able to purchase. It is a small monthly charge monthly and . I get 2 free tune-ups a year included in the monthly fee for NO charge and if I need any service work I get 20% off of the charge and same day service...all for only $12.95 a month. What a wonderful idea and I cannot express how happy I am with this choice. It is a win-win deal for me and the company. I am a very happy camper with my choice of this company."

"I have an annual maintenance contract, they come twice a month, twice a year. So, they are always here in like May and November. I would give their service an ?A?! I don?t like that now they make you pay for the year up front and if you don?t buy multiple years, they charge a lot more money. I don?t like their new maintenance agreement at all.



I think it is ridiculous, to ask for a couple thousand dollars up front, otherwise you pay. It?s not consumer friendly, but their people are excellent! So, I want to be clear, that I love the guys that they send out! I just think that it is a poor business practice.



I have 2 heaters, 2 air conditioners & 2 humidifiers. I think I signed up for 2 or 3 years, whatever was required to get the better price. The thing is, if you are a loyal customer and have been with them forever, you should be able to pay bi-annually or annually, shouldn't?t have to pay multiple years! I think that is very anti-consumer position! 



The ownership is obviously my issue, their people are great! I just really want to make that clear, about how great their employees are! I give them a ?D? for their new contract, I don?t like the way their new pricing structure is! There is not perfect, but they?re good."

"My technician GelAsio was prompt and very professional. The home had the heat turned off by the gas company because a plumbing part needed to be replaced by a plumber. Once that was done I needed a hvac professional turn the heat on. The technician was really good and answered all my questions about the system. It’s my elderly mom’s home and she was out of town. I will definitely use their services again in the future. I had called Sears repair twice and when I was caught in traffic they cancelled my appointment. Sears is a bankrupt company so stay away from them. Use a professional company like All Temp that does a great job for a fair price."
