Get matched with top chimney cap installers and replacers in Sachse, TX

"I recently had my house leveled and the fireplace and chimney were moved 0.9 inches up. I requested to have the interior of the chimney videoed and inspected after cleaning. This was agreed to. The guy videoed the damper area and the top 0f the chimney with his cell phone. That was done only so he could charge me more for the cleaning. Note my chimney has a cap on it. He tore a hole in the screen to put his cleaning cable driven by a portable power drill. with a collapsible whip cleaning tool on the end. As far as I could tell no inspection was performed and I do not think he was qualified to perform and inspection. The video via cell phone was very unsatisfactory. For this service I was charged $399.00 He was the only one that responded to my Anges List request. The last time I got an excellent job done for less by a professional and unfortunately he is no longer in business. Carl L Phipps 4716 Applewood Road Fort Worth, TX 76133 I have always gotten excellent people from Anges list.and I will still use you. But not for chimney sweeps. Carl"

"Swan Roofing did an excellent job replacing our roof after a hail storm. Jimmy Kissamitakis was there for us through the entire process. Jimmy made sure all of our questions concerns were addressed. I have referred Swam Roofing to neighbors and friends because our experience with them was great."

"I had a great experience with fair claims roofing. Bruce, who handled my roof and gutter replacement as well as my mom’s, went above and beyond working with the insurance company to make sure everything needed for the replacement was considered. I would definitely work with him again if/when the need arises."

"Exceptionally well! The crew was here on time, did their job in a thoroughly professional manner and cleaned up everything before they left."

"They did a great job. They solved all the problems I had with the chimney and it’s been working perfectly ever since. They also fixed a problem on the roof around the chimney; they replaced the wood around the chimney with a material that would never rot, so they fixed it even better than it was before. It took them a couple of days to do the work. They took care of all the cleanup as well. We've been real happy with them."

"All the work done by Jaye Stark and his crews was excellent. In spite of the local heavy rains and flooding in May, he completed the work close to on time. Most important, where the heavy rains resulted in damage to some of the work he performed, Jaye came out quickly to repair the damage. I recommend him to anyone needed masonry work."

"We had 3 different companies out to give estimates before deciding to go with Wanda Bledsaw and Bledsaw Construction & Design.  All 3 estimates came from companies on Angie's List, but Wanda's estimate was by far the most affordable.  The job didn't go without some hiccups, but I am thrilled with the results.  The decorative tile around the bathtub and in the shower ordered were not in the correct color, which delayed the job, because the manufacturer had mislabeled the sample board at Home Depot.  Wanda fought to get the order replaced in the proper color and prodded Home Depot to get the manufacturer to ship by air.  Another hiccup, was that the skylight had to be replaced.  It was pitted from hail damage and had a few holes  in it, of which we were not aware.  I feel that we really got the most bang for our buck by having Bledsaw Construction do the job.  I hope to have Bledsaw perform more remodeling at my home in the future."

"Dennis contacted me the same day I purchased the deal for a roof inspection and set up an appointment for the following morning.  He showed up with his workers on time and provided me with pictures of their findings.  Luckily I didn't have any missing shingles, but he did point out hail damage on the roof.  He informed me that I should be good for now, but that I should have the roof inspected again after the next hail storm for possible roof replacement and that he was familiar with filing insurance claims if it came down to that.  He did not try to sell me on services I didn't need.  Overall, good experience.

"The initial estimation was very through and descriptive.  Was very patient and helpful when my choice of color was rejected by the HOA and had to resubmit.  Crew was very polite and did a great job. ( They even cleaned up my dog's mess in the back yard - sorry...)  The owner personally followed up and did walk through inspection after the work was completed, and offered to repair the chimney damage ( due to aging )  that his crew discovered while installing the roof.
Very honest and I was able to trust them from the beginning to the completion.  I would recommend this company to all my friends.

"I contacted Steve at Texas Roof and Fence last fall to get bids on my house and a rent house that had hail damage.  he was very responsive to those requests and quickly got me a bid.
I'm probably not the easiest customer to do business with and I wasn't thrilled with some of his terms and conditions so he agreed to changes I requested.  I'm not sure why but it took a few months to get his signed agreement back to me.  My impression is Steve has a lot of balls in the air and sometimes thinks he has done something he hasn't.
The roof replacement was done last week.  I am still waiting on the barn roof and gutters which were supposed to be done this week but it's not looking like they will be.
Steve set a high bar and high expectations committing to cleaning up daily which his team didn't do.  He also told me when they cleaned up it would be spotless which it wasn't.   Steve said it was unrealistic to expect they would get more than 99% of the nails, etc.
He may have done better than most roofers would have.  I had high expectations based on the strong reviews he had on Angie's List and in Denton and his representations which fell a little short.  Not sure how much of that is because my expectations were too high and some because his crew or he didn't do what he said they would.
