"I don't have anything but positive things to say about Alan, the man is a true jack of all trades. I am thinking of putting this place on the market so I had several small jobs that needed done and he took care of them in a very short time. Everything from dishwasher repair to caulking shower tiles and some electrical work. Now that I've found this service I hate the thought of leaving it to move to another state,."

"The professional from Accurate Appliance arrived on time and was very efficient. I thought that I may have needed a new pump and motor, or even worse, a new washing machine. I was informed that I only needed a drain pump and I do appreciate him being honest with me because I had no idea. The gentleman even put the bottom front panel of the washing machine back on, installing new clips all at no extra charge. I broke them when I was trying to troubleshoot."

"They were quick to respond to our repair needs. Brian was very courteous and arrived promptly when he said he would. We thought that their pricing was reasonable for the job they did on the dishwasher. Thanks to his great repair job it kept us from having to buy a new one. I would highly recommend them and we will definitely call them again if/when we are in need of appliance work."

FAQs for appliance (major electric appliance) installation and replacement projects in Sagamore, MA

A pro starts by setting the units in place and connecting them to the right plumbing lines, electrical circuits, and, for the dryer, a vent. If the hookups already exist, the job is quick. When they don’t, the installer must add plumbing, outlets, or a vent run, which takes more time and increases the price, especially when the laundry area is located far from existing utilities.

You’ll need the right pros for a tight stacked setup. A natural-gas plumber handles the water lines, drain, and any gas work, while an electrician installs the circuit the dryer needs. If venting or framing changes are required, hire a general contractor to patch the drywall or adjust the framing so that everything meets code and operates safely.

Permanent models need complete plumbing, electrical, and—for dryers—vent hookups. Portable units skip most of that and can run on a standard outlet with a temporary water connection. If your home already has a code-approved hookup, you just connect the new appliances. If not, hire a licensed pro to add the lines and vent so the machines run safely and efficiently.

Relocating a hookup costs between $500 and $5,000, as it may involve installing new outlets, gas lines, vents, and drain pipes. The price increases when the new location is far from existing utilities or requires additional framing and drywall work. Have licensed professionals evaluate your layout, provide a quote for the move, and handle the installation so that every component meets code and works safely.
