"Our neighborhood had been hit by a hailstorm a few years ago and most roofs were damaged and needed to be replaced. It was a boon for the roofers as these were insurance claims. Many roofers padded their estimates and passed along some of the extra money to offer freebies to the home owners. Neligan was recommended to us by another homeowner in the neighborhood who had used them and was very happy with the work. We had already received estimates from other roofers, who had the intention of offering incentives to us. Neligan did not do that. They gave us an honest quote for the roof repair. They did a great job, kept us abreast of what was to happen, and were professional throughout. They did not put a lien on our property like other roofers do, which we appreciated. We were very happy with the work they did, and had them later replace the roof of one of our rental properties. That went well also. There were some issues with the skylights leaking after that job but they came and fixed it promptly and there have been no issues since. They also fixed the roof of another rental we had, solving a problem that had existed for years. Finally, when the parish hall of our church needed a roof replacement, we recommended them to our pastor, and they did the work on that roof. There have been no issues with that work either. When it comes time to replace the roof of our other rental property, we will use them again. They are honest (which is hard with roofers), professional, and they back their work."

"Eric written up an estimate for galvanized steel and stainless steel parts that was needed: a spark arrestor, cover, and rain cap. Stainless steel is $200.00 more than galvanized steel but it was the best to keep moisture out of the chimney and not rust. Eric said I can hold on to the estimate and think about it but I knew I had to do something. He has to order the parts and pull permits and needed a 50% down payment. Normally I don't give a check for work not done but I looked up this company on Angies List and the BBB and he was rated an A on both. Eric said he should get the parts within 3 to 6 weeks, I'm hoping sooner. This is an expense that I did not expect but if I just procrastinate the condition of my fireplace will deteriorate. I rarely use it as it is because the weather is rarely cold. My ratings were C for overall and price because I really didn't expect to pay so much and N/A for quality because the materials are not here yet. I will update this when all is complete."

"They've done three roofs for me in the last two years. The house that I'm in now they did. Sterling has done this home, one of my rental homes and my sister in law's home.They had between 10-12 people working on this particular house. I think they did it all in one day. They left it very clean.They were all wearing safety harnesses. I point that out because this house is basically a three story house. Those guys were working 30 - 40 feet in the air. It's amazing a bunch of my neighbors have had other roofers out here doing their roofs and you don't see those guys wearing safety harnesses. I was here while they were doing it, I was laughing. When they took a break, they guy from the crew said I saw you watching us and I saw you laughing at some point shaking your head, what's the problem? I said the safety harnesses. He said yes sir, that's for the heights if we fall we could get seriously hurt, a company requires it. I said I'm happy to see that, I wasn't being condescended in any way shape or form. It's just it's just a requirement and I've never seen another company follow that requirement."

Kayco time and time again kept impressing him with their ability to put up a new roof the right way. Kayco almost put a new roof on our house in one day but ran out of sunlight. We don’t have a big house ,but it was still impressive to watch. They clean up very well ,and they don’t leave that dumpster in front of your house for days after the roof is completed. He saw this with several roofing companies ,but not Kayco the dumpster was gone the day they finished. "It was a great experience. I had heard about them from friends who had used them. I replaced my mother in laws roof and they did such a nice job even with clean up. She was quite happy with the results and roof looks great. I decided to use them for my house since it needed replacing also. They were all very nice and professional from start to finish. They cleaned up after themselves daily. Roofing staff was experienced (no cheap laborers) and inspectors told me they did a great job and brought everything up to code to deal with hurricanes (being in Florida). They also provided me a detailed mitigation report with pics for me to send to my homeowners insurance. It brought my insurance rate down and I have a nice warranty. Roof looks great. They also gave me a good recommendation on gutter service."

We opted for GAF roofing with Golden Pledge warranty. In comparison with other Master Elite certified GAF installers Mr. Hagerty submitted very competitive quote. We are glad about our hiring decision. Team did excellent job on the roof. They have only one team working on roofing projects day after day. There experience and professionalism of doing this work was seen on the job. Many of them are employees of the company unlike other companies hiring contract labor per job basis. On personal note I appreciate company policy of expecting their employee working approx. 8 hours/day. This is very physical work. I was ok for our roof replacement taking 3 days to finish, in comparison to 1 day start-to-finish work done on some of the homes in my neighborhood. Not sure if quality can be maintained by rushing the work."
